Nice ereader. I would recommend it if you already have an Amazon library of purchased ebooks from an older Kindle ereader. As one is unable to transfer them to another non-Kindle ereader. It is easy to use and maneuver around in this ereader. There are a lot of books to buy from Amazon. The adds that come up are not a bother. A con is the lighting system. I also purchased a different ereader. It was the Kindles competitor. After comparing the two ereaders we decided to buy the non-Kindle ereader. Loved the Comfort Pro- Light and the ease of downloading Overdrive books directly from the public library without having to go through an Amazon account. I highly recommend the non Kindle ereader if you like to borrow ebooks from the library instead of purchase them. One also has the opportunity to buy books from the competitors store if one wanted too.

This E-Reader has been a great surprise. The look of the paper white screen is very easy on the eyes and is extremely crisp. I have not had any eye strain using this. I used to use my iPad to read all of my books but found that my eyes would fatigue after extended use of my iPad. I have not had any problems like that with this E-Reader. This E-Reader is an easy recommend.

I absolutely LOVE my Kindle paper white! It’s so lightweight and the size make it a wonderful travel companion! I just throw it in my purse and go! It’s much easier on my eyes than my phone or iPad and I love that I can download books from my local library using either the Libby or Hoopla app. This has been one of the best little investments I’ve made!

This thing is amazing, it also has a web browser which, if I realized in time, I would have bought the 3G version of this device. The Unlimited Service is cool and I get a lot of books cheaper than if I’d bought them outright. The quality of the screen is great, I experience no fatigue even if I’ve been reading for 4+ hours.

I purchased this device to carry around the textbooks that I purchased for college so I can view them without a laptop. It works well for this purpose, and I am easily able to reference material when I need to. I also like how long the battery life is, so I don’t need to charge it very often. The backlight is also a nice touch to have to enable reading in low to no light situations.

Great little device for reading on the go and can store in my purse easily. I recommend this to anyone who wants more than one book to read on the go, small and compact, and easy on the eyes. I got the 8 GB Ad-supported Kindle for around $120 which seems a bit pricey but it works fantastic for the price point.

I had the first generation paperwhite that I bought when it originally came out. It had been through a lot and needed replacing. This one is way better, waterproof, more storage, Bluetooth and was well worth it. The newest version just released and seems to be even better, but this one works great too.

Easy to use and sync with kindle books. Perfect size and weight for use

I bought the Kindle because the tablet (Samsung) I was using overheats while reading outside in the sun. The Kindle is smaller and easier to take on the go. My only quibble is that the screen has a yellowish/off white cast. Seems dull looking compared to the tablet screen. Also the book covers displayed on the home screen are hard to see and sometimes the titles are hard to read. Overall, I am happy with the purchase though. Page turning is quick, battery life is great and the button on the bottom has not been a problem for me. I did buy a cover for protection.

I bought one for my wife last November to give to her as we were taking a cruise. She loves to read. This was the perfect little gift. You can see it in full sun, the battery lasts forever and you can store a boat load if books.she liked it so much, we bought one for her cousin who is also a huge bookworm.

I love my little Kindle. It is small enough to carry with me to read anywhere and very light weight. Since I have poor eyesight, this Kindle allows me to enlarge the print size so that I can see all the words. It also allows me to keep track of the books that I downloaded both from my library and the Amazon site.

I resisted Kindles for years. I love the feel of a book in my hand. I finally decided to give Kindle a try. I love it so much and I’m so glad I have one! It’s so nice to be able to shop books and download them at any time. The battery life is incredible too! I’ve taken it to the beach and to the lake. I can easily read it at any time.

Fits into purse and lots of light for reading Lasts a long time

LOVEEEE! Definitely a great purchase. I tried a Kindle fire 7 and it was horrible definitely a bad tablet, but this is exactly what I wanted a digital book, the back light is amazing and you have endless endless book options , magazines etc. very easy to set up and battery life is amazing.

I never thought I cared to own a Kindle, then the pandemic happened and I couldn't go to my local library. One of the best purchases I've ever made! I wish I had gotten it years ago. I'm so happy with it: doesn't hurt my eyes at all and the quality of the text is so clear and crisp. And battery lasts forever!

Happy with the purchase, this new Kindle is lighter has more internal storage and a brighter screen than the 1st generation Kindle.

Very hesitant to go paperless...I love turning pages! But I'm traveling so much, I decided to try what everyone else raves about. The surprise was not needing a book light at night anymore! And the option for the reverse background. I'm reading so much more now. And the battery seriously lasts weeks! That was no false advertisement...it's totally true!

This is not my first Kindle Paperwhite and because of it's durability and ease of use, it will not be my last. I've recently decided to switch almost exclusively to e-books as I won't carry a book with me and then are taking up a lot of space at home. I tend to read more on the Kindle and like the features such a font size.
