    The case works for protecting the kindle. You won't mistake it for actual leather anytime soon though.

The Plant Based Leather Case is made from 76% renewable bio-materials (non-GMO corn, and viscose fiber from Forest Stewardship Council-certified sources) and 24% polyurethane. This case is crafted in Italy, and is soft and supple like leather, with a microfiber interior to help protect your screen from scratches.

    Too expensive, and my old cover didn't fit my new Kindle by about a 1/4 inch. Grrrrrrr!

      The old Kindle is slightly smaller than the 2022 and 2024 releases. Depending on when you purchased, the sizes are not compatible. To see which version you have you can check in settings.
