It's amazing, I truly love it. This was my first Kindle, and I've had it for over a year now. It works perfectly, the screen size is great, and the dark mode is a fantastic addition.

so glad I got this model before amazon discontinued it. we have the first paperwhite and really wanted the rest of features this model offers for the second kindle. it has better features than the newest model and cost less. win-win.

This was replacing a 2016 model. Really like the size, back light and everything about it.

I wasn't expecting the world when I ordered this for my wife, and I came away more impressed than I expected. The packaging it comes in is super slim, very eco friendly. Setup is quick and easy, and just using the Paperwhite is a solid experience. I wish the screen felt a bit more responsive, as there's a slight delay/flashing effect when you use it. It also seems downright silly that they didn't include the page turn buttons on this model. That's currently reserved for the much more expensive "Oasis" but come on... they're 2 buttons. The screen is great in terms of readability. The backlight is there but not blazing light into your eyes. Text is clear and crisp. A solid reading device with a nice screen

I absolutely adore my new kindle. It’s technically only an inch bigger than the regular kindle but it really makes a difference. Best Buy had a fantastic sale, the online checkout couldn’t have been easier, and I received the kindle in just a couple days.

Got this for my sister for Christmas and she loved it. She prefers real books but likes using this when on the go. She doesn’t have to worry about messing up her books while they’re in her bag.

Better than a nook easy to use. Screen saver changes every once and a while so thats cool and honestly the best battery ever hardly ever needs a charge
