I bought the Kindle for my husband, and he absolutely loves it! He's a big reader and he says it's the best thing he's ever had to read with. He gives it a big thumbs up and highly recommends it. He can keep up with his appointments and everything on it.

I bought this device primarily to read manga and i gotta say that it is fantastic for that task! The images are sharp and detailed and the convenience cant be beat. I also have been using it for reading novels. The large screen has been amazing for that as well and a nice upgrade from the Kindle Oasis.

Let me just say first and foremost, I love having a large size Kindle again. It has been way too long, and I think Amazon really needed to address the larger screen market. With that said, the pencil works great. It is responsive, feels natural to hold and use, and makes a very satisfying sound when Moving across the screen. OK, now for the bad things. Amazon really needs to consider adding more software features. I feel like there is so much missed the opportunity here, particularly when comparing this to other tablet, notetaking devices. unless I carry this everywhere, having the notes on here alone is useless to me. Sure, I can send them to myself. But who wants to send a note to themselves via email in a static image or with text conversion that they cannot edit and resume editing on the jindle again. I feel like 10 or 15 years ago that methodology may have worked. But in today’s world, we expect things to be better connected. I also find it weird that there are only certain types of content that you can mark up, regular kindle books, not being one of them. overall, I like the device enough that I am going to keep it. But it is hard to not feel conflicted when it is so obvious that it is missing some things that seem critical. Luckily, I think most of this can be addressed in software. But there is one hardware thing that also drives me crazy. With an entire lineup of Kindle devices that are almost all waterproof in some way, this has no water resistance that I am aware of. that is such a strange oversight to me.

I absolutely LOVE my Kindle Scribe. I can take it on the go and it saves me tons of money from buying books. I love that it's a notebook also because I can write down any notes or draw. I definitely recommend it.

Love the Kindle Scribe. The writing experience is great. The only thing that I would love is a way to directly backup the files somewhere like google files or dropbox, and also to download from. The handwriting to text functionality also could be improved so that you have a way of saving the text file on your scribe and continue to work on the doc.

Excellent build quality, battery lasts FOREVER. It's like having a library ''on the go'' with the capability to write-in notes/reactions like you would in a physical book. The ability to upload your own "notebooks'' allows you to create any kind of checklist or anything you would want/need for book reviews etc.

This devices is a very convenient and well built e-reader and digital notebook. When I received mine, the pen was defective and would write without it touching thr screen. I worked with support and they sent me a replacement that fixed the issue without hassle. It connects right to the kindle store and gives me everything I was looking for. This loses a star for being shipped with a faulty pen.

I have tried many different ereader and enotebook brands, and find that the kindle software is the best and most polished. Im also heavily invested in the kindle ecosystem. I was thrilled when the scribed was announced. The notebooks are not as feature rich as Onyx Boox oe Remarkable devices, but for me it’s perfectly adequate for casual note taking. I appreciate how my notebook sync with the kindle app on my iPhone and iPad. As an ereader, its big and awesome to read on. I have a regular Kindle for on the go.

This is exactly what I was looking for - paperwhite to read books easily regardless of lighting, and a paper feel for taking notes. I just wish it was easier to move my notes in a good format. I don't like the text format when converted and sent in emails. Hopefully a better solution will be in an update soon.

I have to take a lot of notes...I mean A LOT. Especially quick notes on the fly. This device has simplified my ADHD work life by far. All those sticky notes I would leave throughout my store that everyone else would find but me...GONE. Constantly asking "where's my notebook "..GONE. Flipping through pages of notes to find that one important thing I needed to make sure to share with my staff...GONE. This device has simplified my work life and has added more productivity to my day. The love I once had for my college rulled notebook and fine-point pen has now ended. It's not them. It's me. Ive changed. They have not. Ive moved on and am not sad about it. I would encourage those who are in a similar relationship as I once was, to step out and not look back. Change is hard. I was just there. It's time to Scribe. I believe in you.

This device is fantastic for people who want an e-reader with a huge display and who want to take digital notes but don’t want to pay the price for a Samsung Tablet or Apple iPad. And especially for those who want their battery life to last as long as possible.

I feel like the OS is really restrictive but the drawing speed is really responsive and quick to display. Its a nice big and bright display and the battery lasts forever (weeks, but still). They give you plenty of extra pen nibs but i would prefer a different style of eraser on the pen so it doesn’t feel like im just scratching plastic against my screen.
