Very essy to use “send to kindle” function. Can upload books and pdfs. Book font can be adjusted. Highlighting is easy w/ stylus pen; recommend purchasing essential bundle. Pdfs can also be enlarged but not in the same way as a kindle book’s font. Overall very happy with purchase.

Such as not being able to put one folder into another, no zoom in writing feature (only for highlighting pages from books), and no app that allows you to browse your notes from the kindle scribe. I would say it's like an advance version of previous kindles. So if you want a product that's good to read books while doing some small note taking, this should be good for you. But if you wanted something like a budget version of the Remarkable 2, its a hard pass.

I am hopeful Amazon continues to add features through firmware updates. The templates available on launch are lacking, but the actual writing experience has heen positive.

I was a little worried when the reviews started coming out, but I am so happy I went ahead and purchased one. It is a Kindle first and a writing device secondly. The Kindle part operates exactly as expected. While the writing portion is limited, I hope there will be more options in the future, it is a great writing experience. If you send the documents via Kindle Send, any linked PDFs will operate the same as other e-ink devices. This is definitely replacing my Movie Scribe and even my reMarkable 2.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unfortunately, I ended up being one of the people that experienced a MAJOR glitch straight out of the box.........my premium pen writes on the screen though it's .5 inch away! Also, the pen doesn't consistently react when making selections on the screen. I'd like to be able to update my review soon, but we'll see when I return to the store tomorrow if they'll exchange my premium pen for one that actually works correctly. I shouldn't have to purchase a pen that's meant for the Remarkable e-ink tablet, or any other device for that matter.

Posted .Hi TWells. Thank you for your feedback on the Amazon Kindle Scribe. I am sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with the Premium Stylus. Here are some troubleshooting guides that can help resolve your issue. If your Scribe Stylus Pen is unresponsive
Make sure that you're writing on a content type that supports handwritten strokes or sticky notes
Choose another writing tool from the writing toolbar
Flip the page forth and back
Close and reopen the book or Notebook
Close and reopen the sticky note
If your Scribe Stylus Pen is writing without touching the screen
Replace your stylus pen tip using one of the five replacement tips and the tip replacement tool included with your Kindle Scribe. For a graphic step by step go to Kindle Scribe Pen Replacement Tips.
If your Scribe Premium Pen's button is unresponsive
Make sure that the content type where you're trying to use it supports the shortcut function assigned to the button of your Premium Pen. The stylus pen toolbar shows the pen functions.
Make sure that the stylus tip is touching the screen while pressing the stylus pen button.
If these steps don't solve your issue, press and hold the Kindle power button to prompt the restart menu and restart the device.
