Easy to set up. Only issue is related to our internet service provider, aside from that the plug does it’s job.

Works as intended easy setup it’s made for Alexa, this it works great with her doesn’t go offline.

I love the amazon smart plug because it eliminates the need for a smart hub. It certainly makes living much more simplistic. It is great for wanting to turn off individual lights, or just to learn how to use a smart home system! I highly recommend this! i just ordered another 2 and an Echo dot to use for the other room in my apartment!

I am new to amazon echo/echo dot and new to smart plugs although I'm sure i'm behind on the technology so probably no one takes my review with much thought. However, I hooked my plug up to my christmas tree and it's the best thing ever. No more having to unplug it every night so it doesnt run all night. I just tell Alexa to turn it off and it's done. I bought my plug for $5 so no complaint here, in fact, VERY HAPPY with the purchase.

This is my third Amazon Smart Plug in the house and it is great to be able to create unique names to ask Alexa to turn them off and on. During Christmas, we had decorations (including our Christmas Tree) plugged into our Amazon plugs and then assigned them all to a single group. So, we would come home and say, “Alexa, turn on Christmas.” Our house would light up and bring joyful feelings each time! I highly recommend this product. Super easy to set up and works flawlessly.

I am heavily vested in the Amazon Alexa system so when these went on sale it seemed a good fit. It was easy to pair to my wifi and my Alexa app picked it up immediately. Less than 2 minutes for initail setup. The reason i gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that setting schedules, which Amazon call "routines", is not as straightforward as my other smart plugs by Kasa/TP-Link. Kasa's app is super simple to use and also works very easily with Alexa. Creating routines in the Alexa app is not hard there are just more steps as it is based on ifttt "If This Then That" so you have to setup each part of the equation. Once they are setup they work great. When these are on sale they are a great deal. When they are full retail I would probably buy the Kasa plugs

I have grown to love these little guys. It's not just the seamless integration into the Alexa world, but they are really bullet proof. I have several WEMO plugs and it seems like every time I'm out of town and I want to turn the lights on or off - or set an away schedule - they drop off my network. These Amazon Smart Plugs have never done that. Plus - if you watch, you can get them for very little money...

I have several of these and all work flawlessly. You just plug it in and the Alexa app on your phone sets it up automatically. I've had a few times where it'll randomly stop connecting to my internet but unplugging the plug and replugging it back in fixes it. I do wish they were a bit smaller or fit better over an outlet... I have mine plugged into a power strip and they block adjacent plugs partially.

Have purchased at least a dozen of these in the past. Very easy to set up. If you are looking for the easiest smart plug to use with your Echo devices, this is it. Not to say others are hard to use, but being Amazon branded, it’s one app to set up and use. Compared to some other brands, these have stood the test of time for normal use. Some other brands have failed after a year or so, but not these.

Seamless! Works like a charm. Almost too easy to set up. As soon as I plugged it in, my Echo and Echo Show found it and I was in business. Set up your lights, your tech, your routines. Only issue is that I wish it was a tiny bit slimmer. It's a little bit of a plug hog if you have a lot of items to stick into a multi-outlet situation. Might make it tough to use every available outlet.But it will totally turn your home into the Jetsons.

Paid well with amazons app. Integrated with Alexa and easy to use. I own several other plug brands and this is by far the best when it is used with Alexa. Have all of our inside Christmas items hooked to one and it is nice to have them both on a timer and to have the option to ask Alexa to turn them on or off. Purchased during a couple of different promotions including the exclusive deal on Alexa and received a substantial discount.

My home is set up for Alexa and I use these smart plugs everywhere. I use them mainly for turning lights on or off in different rooms. You can set up these smart plugs into groups to turn on/off multiple plugs with one Alexa command. They are very easy to install in the Alexa system and are very reliable. If you temporarily lose power, you can easily reset them by simply pressing a button on the smart plug.

I had a bad habit of going upstairs to bed and forgetting to turn off the light downstairs. I am able to turn off the light without going downstairs by using this smartplug and an app; saves the knees a bit. May be compatible to add to a current home security systems. I recommend checking compatibility with your provider first if purchasing for this reason.

Easy to set up and use. Because of the 1x3 inch size would like to see the plug in on the side instead of in front. No issues at all with the app to Echo Show. Very reasonable price for what you have it do.

My husband is disabled so I set this plug up for his bedside lamp. It's a perfect use - he just tells Alexa to turn it on or off and never has to get out of bed in the dark and doesn't have to ask me to turn on the light. It's an adjustable bed and when you are in the incline position, you can't reach the bedside table! Could also work when away, turning on various lights at different times through the app.

It can come paired already or easily after the fact. No hub need, but it does still require a WiFi network. Simple and consitant control from Alexa directly and the app. Wish it was Z-Wave and worked with Smartthings as well, but very good at doing exactly what it is advertised for in the end. Not really a compaint, but seems as thought it could be a little smaller compared to other WiFi based models.

I have bought third party brands from Amazon in the past that have been super frustrating. You need to download an extra app and if there is some kind of connection issue between the app and the Alexa app it does not work. With this one you install it directly to the Alexa app. I have never had any problems with it. Worth the cost.

The Amazon smart plug is probably one of the easiest smart plugs you can ever program in your life .....what it does ,it enables you “with the power of the Alexa.3rd generation “ to join with your voice things such as lights ,coffee pots ,TVs ,radio’s etc. etc. I have both the Amazon plug and the two Kasa TP plugs” which are not easy to program “but this one is .....you will not find a better product on the market in my opinion ......
