These plugs are great for developing a "smart home". Very easy to integrate with Alexa and will fit any standard socket to control the attached item by voice. It is a fun and efficient way to control lights and other appliances. This is the third such Item that I have purchased.

This device is very useful for products that are not able to connect to your Alexa. I have an echo show 5 and I wanted to connect my humidifier that only turns on with a knob. Connecting a smart plug to it made it so much easier for me to control even when I’m not at home.

Better than WEMO in how easy it is to set up. Works every time, can use Alexa app or voice command. Really can’t emphasize how easy to setup and use. Good job Amazon.

I purchased this with my echo spot. It was very easy to pair. It has never disconnected like some of the other inexpensive WiFi devices I’ve purchased. I would highly recommend to those like myself who are just transitioning over to a smart home and want to try some devices out. It works great with Alexa and is always responsive.

Smart Plug is amazing. You can turn on/off by telling Alexa what to do. Also on Alexa app you can turn on/off appliances away from home. When we’re not home and it starts getting dark I turn the lights on for our pets from the app.

If you’re looking to slowly make your home a smart home this is one easy way to start. Happy with product. No problems. Used it for our Christmas tree and it’s super responsive when I tell Alexa to turn it on and off. Bought two of them and plan to use them for other electronics around the house!

You don't need a hub, and the setup is extremely quick and easy. Glad it doesn't take up more than one plug with how it is designed, but wouldn't want to use this in a more public area in the home because of how bulky it looks. Luckily where we needed it the plugs are hidden behind furniture.

Love this smart plug . I used it for Christmas tree to contol it with my voice control on Alexa when I wanted the tree lights to be light or off. Also I loved that I can set out routines like hours and days when I want it to be on and off . I’m glad I purchased it

I cannot express how much fun my family is having with this device since I linked it with Alexa. Who else? The plug is branded Amazon so it works as a charm with Alexa. It can handle 15 amperes so I hooked my Christmas tree to it. My Christmas tree drains 10 amperes so I still left a 50% marging for peace of mind. So all my family is into turning on and off the Christmas tree. Alexa never lets them down, you say: "Alexa, turm on the Christmas tree" and it goes on". Then, when ready to go to bed: "Alexa turn off the Christmas tree" and it goes off. You can also go to the Alexa application in your phone and make the magic happen, or you can automate the operation of the Chritmas tree is the application as well. But believe me, is great to ask Alexa to do it every single day, she is effective and agrees to your commands by saying "OK". The Amazon product is pricey but you can feel and see its quality. Trust me, you don't want to connect to your home power something that doesn't look and feel sturdy.

It's excellent for what it does, although the plug is kind of bulky. I used it for my night light, so to turn it on, i would say, "Alexa, turn on night light." You can change the name of the device in the app. Other than that, there's not much to say about it.

I got this to replace a wemo switch - I’m replacing all wemo stuff since it’s not reliable and the app is terrible. I use this plug on a schedule, so I rarely interact with this one - it just comes on in the morning, turns off in the evening. Setup was easy, and it just works. The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is because I haven’t seen a way to add it to Apple HomeKit or Google Hub (which I knew going in, but not a necessity since this one is on a schedule).

I bought the Amazon Smart Plug for our Christmas Tree lights. It was a great purchase. For one I got it on sale, two it made our holiday a little bit better and three it worked as advertised. We look at several other wireless plugs and found Amazon Smart Plug the best value. It worked great with no problems.

Recently purchased two of the Smart Plugs to use in our living room. Both were used on outlets lighting Christmas trees. Excellent way to turn tree lights on and off without me physically unplugging the lights and knocking 4-5 ornaments off each time. Have not had any problems with disconnecting. Works great!

We needed a few smart plugs to control our Christmas trees and a few holiday lights. Since we are already immersed in the Amazon environment, it was no brainer to pick up the Amazon Alex smart plug when it was on sale. It was easy to setup and has work wonderfully since we bought it.

This plug is so great. I travel a lot, and when I'm away, it allows me to turn lights on and off to make it appear that someone is home. It's easy to set up, and I can control it from my phone. I also like to use it at Christmas time with my tree. I just tell Alexa to turn the tree on or off.

Easy to set up and use, just plug it in and open the Alexa app and you can start using your voice, excellent to control anything is plugged into by using your voice commands. I bought for my dad and he is very happy, I really recommend this Amazon smart plug.

My husband and I received an Amazon echo and a smart plug for Christmas this past year and everything was super easy to set up. Once we realized how easy it all was, we decided to add this plug to our bedroom so we can turn the light off while lying in bed (we're the ultimate lazy couple). It works well, takes 2 minutes to set up, and we haven't had any connectivity issues. If you are in the market for a smart plug, I highly recommend this one over the other brands, which are much more difficult to connect in my experience. We will purchase and add more of these smart plugs to our home as we need to, because we know they'll all work together and they're easy to set up. You can put your plugs on a timer from the app so that even if you aren't home, the lights come on automatically. Or if you're out, you can turn the lights on from your phone so your kitties aren't waiting for you in the dark. We love this smart plug, superior to the other brands we tried to make work. I give this product a 5/5.

Absolute love this little guy we actually purchased for our Christmas tree lol who loves getting attacked by a Christmas tree and presents every time you go to Plug in not me we linked to our Alexa family and could turn on the tree and Christmas lights from anywhere and I mean anywhere we actually were out late one evening and I was like we need to get home to turn on the lights and my daughter says why I already turned then on totally forgot about the app so I definitely will be buying more for other devices like the coffee pot so I can turn it off from anywhere Incase I forget we actually have several smart thing we definitely are a smart house family and this was a great addition it’s nice to just ask Alexa to turn things off and on there’s nothing like getting comfortable in bed and someone forgets to turn off the Christmas lights well just ask and she’ll turn them off with this little plug in definitely a great addition to our smart home

Very easy to setup, use, and integrate with rest of my smartphone products. I mainly use it with electronics/products that have no other way to be smart, such as the Christmas Tree and a portable A/C unit, and will only be on for temporary times.

Best accessory with the Echo so far. Price is pretty inexpensive. I have these in three different rooms along with the smart light bulbs. I would recommend getting the amazon brand as the other require you to download their app and connect with it first before connecting with the amazon alexa app.
