I purchased 4 of these for my arcade setup and they have been working flawlessly and I’ve had them over a month now. Easiest connection ever to my echo dot and routines work great.

Great product! I’m using it to control one of the lamps in the house that faces the window and have set it to turn on at sunset. Got a great deal through Best Buy ordering through my Echo so had to get a couple.

Excellent product - designed to interact perfectly with Amazon Alexa devices. Setup requires less than (1) minute, built with quality materials, and operates flawlessly. Also, does not require reprogramming after a power outage.

love being able to walk into a dark house and tell Alexa to turn on a lamp which is hooked up to this. These are so easy to set up and so usefull in many ways....lamps, electric blanket, scentsy burners etc.

I bought the amazon smart plug over other brands because it is so easy to setup and works immediately with my Amazon Echo. Other devices needed an app downloaded and then linking to my echo. Just fewer steps with this.

This plug was easy to pair with the Amazon Echo Dot (3rd Gen), and it works great as long as one remembers the voice commands. After setting this up, I said “Turn on plug #1.” No response. After several tries I thought something was wrong and I would have to troubleshoot. Then my sister entered the room and said “Turn on first plug,” and it worked. Apparently Alexa is programmed to respond to the commands “1st plug, 2nd plug, etc.” To me it is more intuitive to say “Plug 1, Plug 2, etc.) I bought this as a combo with an Echo Dot. Amazon had a combo for the same price but the plug was a third party one, whereas Best Buy bundled the Amazon brand plug. I wanted the Amazon plug because I figured there would be fewer compatibility issues now and as my smart home system expands.

Installed these on two hard-to-reach lamps, and now can control them easily by voice. Easy installation w/Amazon Alexa. Not sure they’re worth $25 with cheaper alternatives out there, but definitely a good deal when on sale.

I've purchased several smart plugs over the past few years and this one is the easiest to connect. Some other brands fight with my vpn. Not this one. Plug it in and you're good to go in about 30 seconds.

Easy to set up, controls the main light in my guest room without any problems. Unlike some outlets, I have never had to reset it. Really, no complaints. Not a shock that Amazon's outlet would work flawlessly with Alexa.

I just bought me a 3d generation Alexa, & i had to buy this smart plug. Both sold sepreatly, & this plug, is not that bad. What it does essentially is, you can only plug one thing into it, i choose my tv. You say, Alexa, Turn on plug, turns on your tv for you. Not bad not bad. What suck's it that, it can only be used for item. All & all, it's not that bad of medium size plug.

Love the smart plugs. Have them all over my house and all of my lights and accessories are set up through my Alexa. Very happy with the purchase and they work great!

I got a few of these little plugs and they are so handy! They work nicely with Alexa! Have them connected to some lamps, one in the kitchen so I can control when the crockpot needs to turn on/off from my phone, etc.

bought for a family member at Christmas, price was so good and could not pass it up, simply plug and play, no set up, hooks right up to Alexa devices and helps turn the lights on for her.

It can turn devices on and off, but there's a catch... the issue is if the device can be unplugged and plugged back in to to automatically turn on then this device is great! But if the device stays in the off state when it's plugged in, then unfortunately this device doesn't solve that issue. Most devices, like tv's, stay turned off after being plugged in (some tv's have a setting to change that). And it doesn't make much sense to use it on a phone or laptop charger since a one step process of plugging in becomes a 2 step process of plugging in and calling Alexa to turn on the charger. Laps or anything with a on/off switch (not button) works great

I had problems with other brands, this one works great! Super easy to setup using the Alexa app! I use it to control an outlet that out of reach with patio string lights. "Alexa, turn on patio lights". Love it!!

I have only recently been getting into smart home tech. It started with an Echo, and has expanded to 5 Alexa devices, 2 Google home devices, 4 cameras, a doorbell, a thermostat, 6 connected light switches, and 6 smart plugs. Of all of the devices, this one was the easiest to setup. I use it on some lights for a display case in my living room. I setup a timer to have the lights to automatically come on at night. I have another on a fish tank with a light, and a third on a electric fireplace that will automatically come on if the thermostat reaches a certain temperature. If you are tired of getting up to turn something on or off, like a lamp or window AC unit, then this product is great and inexpensive. I highly recommend it.

Easy to connect to alexa and rarely disconnects compared to my WEMO plugs. Wish it would connect to more (homekit). Frequently seen it for $5 so great value at that price.

Love these smart plugs! Make things so much easier especially around the holidays or getting home late from work! I have never had one issue with the Amazon branded ones

I use several Alexa smart plugs. This one is set-up on a routine to turn on and off my grow light (not that kind of grow light even if I am in Colorado). Works great!

First off once this product is up and running it works great. Even after wifi reboots and power cycles it reconnects automatically, However. a lot of these smart products will only connect on a 2.4ghz wifi network and not a 5ghz network. Some may say why would you need a simple device on a 5ghz network. that is not the issue, the issue is that they are not very smart and like most people with updated routers their 2.4ghz and 5ghz networks are named the same and usually the device is smart enough to connect to the better connection. these plugs will not connect to your network unless you go into your network and give them a unique name so you can tell the difference between 2.4ghz and 5ghz. only then can you point it onto the right network and will connect to the 2.4ghz signal. other than a high price, this is a great lazy mans product. it also comes with a small on off button on the side in case for what ever reason its not connecting with your Home system.
