Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I guess it should be a good indicator of something's value when you buy it for people as a Christmas gift and they give it back to you and say they have no use for it. Admittedly, I didn't put much thought into how the people I bought these for would utilize them, but I don't think it matters much because I have since discovered that there isn't much anyone could or would use these for realisitcally. Another thing I noticed is that there is a genuine concern about using Amazon devices amongst consumers - I also found that this concern isn't unwarranted. The instrusiveness into everything they can possibly intrude into is excessive to say the least and unnecessary in almost all cases. And lastly, as many useless features that Amazon devices provide, there seem to be just as many that would be helpful if they were offered but aren't. The relationship to Amazon devices is in the end very one-sided. They get info and data and an opportunity to leave a mark on all parts of your life, and you get some risky dink device that you'll probably rarely or never use after connecting it to your home's wifi.

Why would they have sold me to stands for an echo 8 that I did not receive? I got home I'm setting things up and realized I don't have it ego 8 system? After being assured I had everything I needed only to find out that was not the thruth

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the Amazon Echo Show 8 (3rd) generation. The alarm is a very gentle wake-up call. It is capable of doing so many things, we have not even touched the surface. This one we use in the bedroom. We have a smaller echo in the den. May have to replace the den one with the Echo 8.
