I love AMC. It is my go-to choice for movie theaters in my area. I go to a lot of movies and I always try to find gift cards at a discount. Even better, a few months ago, they started accepting AMC Gift Cards on the Fandango iOS App, so I get a discount and pre-ordered tickets for every move I go to (no ticket fee if you are a AMC Stubs member). Obviously gift cards are primarily for gift giving, so that is really the only time you should pay full price for a gift card. When you are buying a gift card for yourself, it is really pointless unless you are getting a decent percentage off. We bought this gift card for ourselves when it was 20% off as a Lightning Deal around Christmas time which is a great price. Best bet is to keep an eye on the Lightning Deals for gift cards and see if you can snag a good d

I love giving these cards to family and friends because it gets them out of the house and into community with others. My sister in law raves over the fact that my brother and his sons get to spend quality time together at Movie. I usually give Dinner and a movie gift cards also to get struggling parents out on a date and kids can bring their special friends out for a nice meal and movie without breaking their piggy bank at the theater food counter. The go to dinner first and then catch the movie on a full stomach which they enjoy rather than eating candy...

I am all the time trying to make sure I buy the presentsame I I get that are meant for the person I am purchasing the gift for. I understand that buying gift cards are the easiest way to go especially if you are not able to shop earlier in the Christmas season but I am not the biggest fan of getting gift cards and nothing else so I usually do get the gift card to add to the present that I have already started to get together and adding a gift card does kinda wrap the entire gift together and definitely make sure it is personal to the other person you are buying for.

So I bought this for a friend because I loved the picture of the popcorn. He was just as exited by the picture. When he went to show his wife she pointed out that it was also a gift card to see movies. He wasn't too impressed until she told him he could also use it to buy popcorn. This completely blew both of our minds. Who would've thought a $25 picture of popcorn was actually worth $25 of popcorn. Amazing!

What can I say about this gift card. I saw it sitting there in the aisle at Best Buy and figured I would buy one for my brother's birthday. To my amazement, I asked the Cashier to put $25 dollars on the card and son of a gun, the card is now worth $25 dollars. Only way this card could be better is if it came with a bonus offer. Oh wait! it did! I got a Best Buy $5 Reward Credit with purchase. Now to go watch a movie.

It's a gift card so what can you really say? The best thing was that we got it at a discount and my daughter really loves movies so it was a great Christmas present...she also still thinks Santa brings things so it was wrapped in the "special" wrapping paper that she doesn't know exists in the house. Five stars because we paid less than face value.
