Excellent CPU. Was a definite upgrade from a Ryzen 3 3200g. Would definitely recommend this cpu for people looking for a good 3rd gen upgrade.

replaced by intel with this highly rated replacement and have seen a huge improvement in my pc. so good!

It us an awesome processor. My issue was not paying attention to it being a CPU and not an APU. I had to get a new video card for my pc to show video to the monitors.

Can't complain. Desktop is used for a lot of different things and this CPU can handle them all

Regardless of your needs, this processor has the power to excel. Make sure to download the Ryzen Master software from AMD to take full advantage of the processor. The included Wraith Prism cooler is worth $50 by itself. Installed onto Asus X570 Tuf and it works flawlessly.

Things a beast so what does that mean. GET GOOD COOLING. With wraith prism cooler I was getting 85c wich is ridiculous ( not harmful I hear but I call bs lol) i got simple water cooler 240m and still 70 too 80 . Will do another review when I install water loop!

This is a very good processor, I however returned it and decided to wait for the new 5000 series, didnt have a chance to use it but i hear good things.

good ryzen 7 3800x one of the best iv'e used so far.

Works great, I am not using it's full capacity as of right now, but it hasn't disappointed me yet.

installed on x570 motherboard and this CPU out performs my older Intel i7-4470 system. i have been able to slightly overclock and get a little more from it, but not much!

Tremendous processor. I got this to attwmpt my first PC build and it hasnt disappointed

This CPU run hot with idle temps of 40 c to 50 c and 72 c max under load . AMD says it's max temp is 95 c which seems hight to me. I had the extra money so I decided on this CPU but I would recommend the 3600x or 3700x since they only offer a 2% difference with general use and gaming. If your gonna use it as a workstation go for it.

Great CPU. have had it for as few weeks and it works phenomenally. Might be old Gen but its still a great CPU.

Couldnt purchase a 5800x so settled for this, its still a massive beast!

Loved this processor. It was just something that you need if you are rendering or doing music processing. This will never have issues.

For anyone building a pc who wants a value option, when this CPU is on sale it makes for a great purchase.
