Performance boost was significant! Was way over due for an upgrade as I was cpu bottlenecked for cpu intensive titles I play. Stays very cool with a basic 240 aio nothing wild. I definitely recommend this if you’re in the market for an upgrade and have the funds of course!

The CPU does run a bit hot, so you will have to optimize your fans to make up for it. this often goes on sale and best buy was awesome to price match for me. Highly recommend.

Both were/are being cooled with a 360mm AIO. This cpu rarely hits +70c. This cpu is being used for gaming applications. Performance wise what I saw was a much more smoother gaming experience. Less drops in framerates and faster loading times. This is paired with a RTX 4080 Super, they work great together. This is an excellent cpu, and for its price point it is unmatched. Worth every penny.
