Paired this with a 4070 Super and was not disappointed. I had a 7700X at first and then jumped to this and you just can’t beat the X3D performance. This stays relatively cool as well under a 360mm AIO.

Excellent CPU for gaming. Power efficient but still a challenge to keep cool in a small form factor case. Currently installed in fractal ridge case with stock wraith cooler. Recommend using a proven and effective CPU cooler to maximize performance.

Loving this CPU. I recently did a full system upgrade and decided on the 7800x3d due to its awesome gaming performance. I haven't experienced any issues with it and it handles all the games I'm currently playing; Baldur's Gate 3, Starfield, Armored Core VI, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Cyberpunk 2077, Hogwarts Legacy, and a few others.

If you use your PC mostly for gaming then this CPU is still one of the best. Only recently dethroned by the 9800X3D but since that is out of stock almost everywhere you can’t go wrong picking this up instead.

Excellent gaming CPU. Installed with an MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk WIFI and a 32GB G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo kit (running at 6000MHz with Expo), and it worked flawlessly. Using a Noctua NH-U14S in a push/pull configuration and it keeps it from throttling (I haven't messed it PBO offsets). Absolutely no complaints.

Second top of the line cpu for gaming. If you want a faster and smooth cpu get this one. I know 9800x3d is out but its sold out everywhere this would be your second option and it’s the best!

This is the best CPU for gaming for early 2024. But if you’re looking into multitask and need a fast CPU that can have multiple browsers up and just basically run everything at a fast pace and want to save money then the previous generation board AM4 will work just fine if you get the Ryzen 5900X . It will save you a lot of money from having to upgrade your board just to get this CPU (7800x3D) . Now if you want the best of the best for gaming, then look no further this 7800X3D will give the highest fps count on the market as of early 2024.

BEST GAMING CPU HANDS DOWN. (FEB 2024)
The competition doesn't have anything better than this that wouldn't require you to do some tuning/overclocking.
Even still, after doing all of that you still have to pay more, draw more energy and create more unnecessary heat...
