I liked the show overall. However, I was disappointed that they neglected, or glossed over, certain points in history that have helped shape American society. For example, they completely skip Reconstruction. Also, although it is nice to see familiar faces talking about history... I highly doubt the validity of commentators like Donald trump and other popular icons.

My husband uses this in his classroom. It's a good way to keep the kids interested in what he is teaching them about and it reiterates his lessons. It gives them a great visual.

I love history movies these are my Favorite My grandkids learn from them too They like talking about our American history

I use this DVD in my high school classroom. It's fast-paced, slick, and generally holds students' interest when shown in small bits and relevant to what we're studying.

I purchased this for my 13 year old son. He loves it and the entire family watches it together! Quality entertainment!

Bought this for a home schooling supplement for our children. We enjoyed it so much we could not stop watching it.

I watched the complete 3 disc set and found it amazingly fullfilling and hard to stop. The set includes a lot of things that I didn't know about and recommend it to parents looking for something to get their kids up to date on American History. There are many items that are not mentioned in the package but overall it's worth the money and time to watch.

could have done with out the speakers i dont think people need movie stars and other famous people like al sharpton telling us about our history

This was a very informative documentary abt the history of the United States. I learned things I didn't already know. I'm glad the history channel decided to make this.

It's sad how liberals are re-writing history. The blu-ray was great, but the liberal undertones were appalling. After watching the series, I threw them in the trash. I would not recommend this to anyone.
