I’m going from their enterprise setup to this smaller unit. Super fast and reliable just as the enterprise version of their products.

Very nice router, I have owned this for about 2 years now and it has held up very well. The app is very well set up and I like the fach that it has a touch screen on the front as well( which is a little small). It does seem to get a bit warm, not sure why there wasn't more ventilation thought of for this router? Overall it performs and has many useful functions.

Purchased for Wi-Fi 6 and experienced my first red flag when setting up. In short, the app and router’s speed test is inaccurate, I ended up with a $100 fee from Cox trouble shooting “slow” speeds. Below are my thoughts. Pros: - Sleek - Easy setup - Nice speaker Cons: - After 3 months internet would disconnect weekly - Had to reboot each time internet went out - Unstable connection with zoom calls - Would get really hot and reboot itself sometimes I really wanted to like this router. It was perfect for my entertainment setup. However, the constant internet disconnections did it. I would be away from home and would check on my home security to see it disconnected and unavailable. Each time I knew the router had disconnected from the internet. When I got home I’d have to unplug the router and plug it back in to get internet to work. This was my ordeal weekly.

I have had routers from most of the major consumer brands. Not only is it the coolest looking router is was the simplest to setup. Absolutely amazing!!! It cost less than what I replaced. This by far is the best router I have ever owned. The only thing I would have liked to have seen is support for faster modem speeds. You know that 2.5/5/10GB is right around the corner. But I guess I will have to buy a new one of these once they support that speed. Ubiquiti products are in high demand and sold out all over the internet. If you need a serious solid Wireless router grab one of these.

After upgrading internet to gig about a year ago I have struggled to get speeds over 100mbs on wireless. I originally had a Nighthawk, then Eero Pro with 3 AP's, both were lucky to get 75mbs on most days. I upgraded to 2 of these (over kill for most homes I just did it to get extended coverage outdoors near basement) almost a month ago and couldn't be more please. I typically run speeds test on wireless north of 500mbs and not one issue with over 50 devices in the house. Worth every penny! The app is fairly intuitive and easy to setup.

If you're looking for an incredibly simple to use WiFi 6 router that looks cool - you found it. I don't utilize the Mesh capabilities but I assume that's as simple as the setup was. It's only 1GB (most won't need more) so beware of that but other than that, it's a breeze to use and I never have to babysit it. It just works. I maximize my GB ISP connection without having to mess around, plug and play.

I got this router because Ubiquity makes it. It does not put basic features behind stupid paywalls or subscriptions. It does not send data to a weird server like TP-Link. The signal is really strong. The screen is cool, but I think this would be a better deal if they skipped the screen and were cheaper.

Purchased this to "upgrade" to WiFi 6 from my previous Orbi router. Spend some time looking at reviews and this unit seemed to tick a lot of the boxes of options I was looking for. Had it set up for 2 weeks but the performance just wasnt there for me. I have Tmobile home internet which fluctuates in speed from 100-500 Mbps, in the same room right in front of the router I was getting pretty close to whatever speed I was getting from Tmobile. But once I went into another room, speeds dropped dramatically. Example: Was getting 400Mbps directly at the Alien router (through the speed test on the Amplifi app) and I would be getting just 25Mbps on my device. Tried resetting the unit a few times and changing settings but nothing seemed to work so I ended up returning the unit.

    Best Router I've come across.

I've renovated my home a few years back and although I love the additional space added on, I created problems that I could not have anticipated. My home went from approximately 3,000 sq ft., built in the 80's, to 4,500 sq ft. Great for space, but a NIGHTMARE for Wi-Fi coverage. The additional walls, plumbing, insulation, sound proofing and electrical system befuddled any Wi-Fi system or extender I could find. I caught a YouTube video on the benefits of Wi-Fi 6 and decided to pick up the Amplifi Alein Mesh Wi-Fi system and BOOM, I instantly had better Wi-Fi speeds than I've ever seen at any time in this house. I started with Router and Mesh Point package (Router downstairs and Mesh Point Upstairs in the Master Bedroom). For reference, I have Xfinity internet with 1G down and 50Mbps up. In the room with the Router, I get up to 952 Mbps down and about 44 Mbps up - and that's with the kids FaceTiming or playing video games with their friends at the same time. The bedroom with the Mesh unit upstairs gets 552 MPS down and 41.2 MPS up. On the new portion of the house, the coverage dropped to 34 Mbps at the furthest point which is a back bedroom. Fine for basic Wi-Fi use I guess, but not good enough for our needs. During the toughest part of Covid last year, there were at least 3 of us on Zoom sessions at times. Coordinating schedules to ensure zero dropouts, was out of the question (and this is why I love this system), so I opted to purchase 2 additional stand-alone units over the next few months to use as mesh points and cover the entire house and INSTANT improvement took place. We had zero drops on Zoom calls and the slowest speed I get in any room is 322Mbps down and 38.9 Mbps up. It's amazing. According to the Amplifi app, I currently have 30 devices connected to the system and everything's working blazingly fast. Now, if I can figure out how to get this kind of speed to the furthest part of my backyard, I may never go back to the office! Seriously, if Amplify Alien comes up with an outdoor system, it's over for anyone else. It's that good.

I decided to try this router even though it was expensive. Was easy to setup and delivered the higher speeds I was hoping for off our 1 gig fiber connection. After owning it for 2 years, the wifi stopped working. I reached out to support and responded after a couple days. I would respond and it would be over a day for a reply. After a week and a have (tried rolling back firmware, etc..), they directed me to RMA as they deemed it a hardware failure. I filled out the RMA and they rejected it as it was out of warranty. I wouldn't recommend simply for the price and my personal experience.

Quite far the best mesh network no matter what anyone says. I’ve used this for over 4 years and it’s still one of the best routers available today. I recommend it to everyone. It’s all digital and the phone app is amazing. Manage every devise and make different channels for specific devices anytime.
