Overall an easy setup and compared to my Nighthawk a much better product. This product seems to have a bit more range and bells and whistles.

Great premium router for gigabit internet! Previous ASUS router would have intermittent drops randomly each week where I'd have to force restart it each time. No issues with the Amplifi router yet and I actually get close to my gigabit plans speeds with roughly 15 devices all plugged in at the same time using a gigabit switch. Pro tip if you're tech savvy or brave enough: there are additional settings/options not listed in the app interface that you can access and change by typing in your router's IP and logging in.

I am extremely happy. Fast wifi speeds great coverage. Make sure you upgrade to the newest firmware. To take advantage of new features .

This router in my opinion is the best wifi router on the market. The range is amazing and I've yet to have issues with its uptime in the year I've owned it (disregard my purchase date as I bought this to set up for my brother.) This router has one of the easiest app interfaces and the touch screen lets you do quite a bit as well. It lacks some features power users will prefer but for the average person wanting stable Internet in their house, nothing else compares.

This solved all previous issues with internet set-up. Tried router and modem combo's and seperated set ups from all other brands. The set-up was easy, instructions are clear and the display is useful. Most importantly, consistent and uninterrupted performance.

Greater router and easy to set up. They are expensive but they have great range and reliability.

I purchased two of these units to set up a mesh at home. We have a two story home and a lot of Wi-Fi devices, since we don't have cable and are exclusively a streaming household. Setup could not have been easier. Download the app, connect to the modem and turn on the power. After a quick boot sequence, Alien downloaded its firmware, connected to the remote node and was operational in less than 4 minutes. Then, in some sort of "humble brag", AmpliFi sent a survey to about the setup experience. It is the easiest setup experience in the history of home router installation. Period. I bought the Alien to replace the ASUS system which had stopped working after about 8 months of use. At the time of this review, I have had the Alien for almost 7 months. There have been no issues of any kind. I have 28 devices connected at the moment and I can easily get all the speed I need to any device on the network. The Alien can also measure the speed from the router to the device. This device also supports wired (Ethernet) backhaul to cut down on wireless congestion. Over the past 5 years I have had 3 different mesh systems. The Alien outperforms everything I have used in the past. The only downside is the AmpliFi Alien is not Wi-Fi 6e compatible. This means it can only support ISP speeds of 1GB or less. I don't need anything near that as 1GB is not available in my area. Also, most of the Wi-Fi 6e routers are more expensive. Since there are not many 6e devices out yet, there is little advantage to being an early adopter of 6e. Simply put, AmpliFi Alien is what I recommend to everyone.

I love the AmpliFi - Alien WiFi 6! It was very easy to setup and connect all of my devices. The coverage is great, and I love that I can expand my system with mesh points.

Overall very good router - signal is great. I have 2 in my house and I have zero wifi issues. Only issue is one died after 9 months and I had to replace. at 400$ they shouldnt just die in less than a year.

Had Alien already, got this to pair as mesh point. Thoroughly pleased with unit and Best Buy!

Probably the fastest router I have tested bought and kept. Seems to get more range than the Asus nighthawk.

Recently I been buying $100 to $200 Wi-Fi router. And then after a year having issues with connecting many Wi-Fi devices. So I went and go ahead and brought this one. This one make a huge difference and work really well! No loss connections on Wi-Fi and been stay connected and the it fixes on their own. No slowdown or lagging at all. I would recommend this unit for someone that connects more than 10 Wi-Fi devices and also for heavy usage.
