I have to say that I very impressed with this mesh network. I use to have dead spots in my home and this system has resolved all of my issues. The AMPLIFI system came highly recommended by one of my relatives that already had the system and boy was he dead on. I would recommend this sustem to anyone. The only thing that you have to get past is the price point of each unit. If you want quality you have to pay the price. A+ in my book.

I have run into a couple of problems with this router. To begin, there are times where the LCD display on the front of the unit just goes blank, but the backlight is still on. The touch is still working, but I can't see anything on the display. I have tried to factory reset it and update the firmware, but nothing seems to be helping. Another down side of this router is that you are not able to change the channel, if you change it with the app, it will show that it has been changed, however, when you look with an app on a device, it will show you that it's locked on a different wireless channel. This router is able to transmit about 800mbps up and down over wifi. However, I was only able to get that number while transfering from my nas to my phone as a local network. When using WAN, it was a different story, I was able to get about 500-600mbps.

Great router and works perfectly. The mobile app is useful though the VPN feature is pretty much useless. A bit pricey but worth it.

Amazing product, only down side is the speed test on the router is not accurate at all. But my coverage is still at max compared to other routers

Upgraded from a Netgear and it's simply perfect. Super fast wifi through the house (2,800sq / two story). Looks cool and user interface is user friendly.

Coverage was, as usual, nowhere near as advertised. It was actually worse than my gen1 google "pucks". The speed was faster when next to the unit, but soon the Google was providing greater speed over similar distance (tested separately, sans interference). Also, the unit ran very warm.

Best router EVER! I have used a LOT of routers in my day - and this was superbly easy and had excellent features and works perfectly.

Before getting the AmpliFi Alien 6 Mesh Router, we had areas in our home where there was no WiFi coverage. This is the first Mesh Router that we have purchased and after looking at all that were available, we chose this one. After using this for 3/4 of a year, I can say that we hit a home run. It does not matter where we are in our home we get excellent signal. Our TV's, Phones and Tablets work perfect. I highly recommend this to anyone having issues with WiFi. We have 3 units in our home and it reaches every corner.

Worka like a charm but the coverage wasnt as great as i wish. Got two ans it works great. Apple Router kit sucks if you ask me. Doesnr work with two units and broke entire smart ser up. What a joke. Thats sorta apple tho. It is advertised as a feature tho. Now i have it set and will never change the settings. Works great.
