Perfect companion for my Alien router!!

First Excitement then Disappointment

I assumed the unit didn’t have a 2.4 ghz channel. After doing research it was too late to return and the 2.4 ghz channels should have worked. I have reset, upgraded the firmware, and used the beta software to find a solution. None have worked. I am working with support but it’s taking over two weeks to find a solution. I’m disappointed as I have supported AMPLIFI in the past but this $400 loss is not going to sit well with me for a while. Reading the AMPLIFI forums also indicate others have a similar problem that doesn’t seem to have a valid solution yet. This unit was not ready for prime time for me. I went back to an old unit until support finds a solution for me.

Google Fiber user happy with this router

This is definitely a premium piece. The app and screen are freaking awesome. The only thing that worries me is that they might be launching a new version soon.......
