Easy setup, a bit advanced for non technical people.

Broke after a year. Kept losing internet and IP address.

Had high hopes for this router but after 2 days and a firmware update the fans stayed at 6500RPMs. After contacting support it was determined it was a hardware failure and router was returned.

Disappointed. Attempted to replace my Spectrum provided WiFi 6 router. Observed minimal speed improvement however NO improvement in coverage. Yes, feature rich compared to the Spectrum router but not worth the price. Returned.

Overpriced garbage, my old google router worked better then this, I simply wanted to upgrade my Wi-Fi experience in home and the alien got raving reviews but just did not deliver the results I was looking for a 400$ router

this router with hard wire is ok but not the range of the wifi. if you have 2 level house with this router you need the mesh but the mesh not cheap with this mesh router....so i return this router i bough 3 but i opening the box 2 of them i can not return so i have to deal with it...

Bout to mesh with existing. Speeds are slow and my 5ghz radio on my main failed one week after connecting as a mesh. Going to switch to Orbi. Only feature I really like about the alien is the Teleport feature which is great when traveling but not worth the headache. Amplifi support is great.

Looks super cool for a router. LCD screen stopped working after about 4 months. Tech support on their side isn't helpful either. Do yourself a favor and just get an ROG router.

Buyer beware. You can't manage this router up without the app. What, dear reader, do you do if the latest firmware refuses to give your mobile device an IP address? Id love to hear other options, because currently I'm screaming into the void and looking for a new router (one definitely not made by a company that requires you to have an app to access the management interface).

This thing is really cool... But if you cannot disable the DHCP server and you can not set a subnet mask other than 24 bit.... Unless you put it in bridge mode and only use it as a standalone wireless access point... If you use your own DHCP server and/or use a LAN IP scheme other than 24 bit, don't waste your time.... Otherwise, I would recommend.

After about 6 months the LCD screen has died and I am having to go through an rma.

Works great for the gaming console and smart tv but on everything else my wifi seems to have gotten worse even when you are right next to it. Need to do some further research to see if there’s anything I can adjust

Great router, covers my condo without any problem and gets around 600m over Wi-Fi. I like it more than the tp link ax 11000 that i had.

Bought it for $260 “on sale from best buy, found it for $199 on the manufacturer website “regular price”. Best buy wouldn’t price match so i returned it….

Already had one and used this one as a mesh point and it works great and with $100 off was a great price

After one year and a half using two router in Mesh configuration I completely satisfied with the product.

This device is so easy to compromise its ridiculous, it took a solid 30 seconds for an attacker to get through the NAT and initiate man-in-the-middle attacks. The device is a complete mess no matter how many times the thing has been reset, nor does the firmware update make any difference. Just waiting on figuring out when Ubiquiti wants to address the the fact that its NAT is worthless. It has no stateful firewall.

Really good when they work. After 8 months of reliable use the screen blacked out of one unit and the antenna quit working on the other. Received a replacement for the bad antenna and it lasted about 2 hours. Will try to return it once again. I will likely sell them. I cycled through about 6 of these.

Night 1 the wifi backbone went down. Took 3 hrs to get it running again. Ethernet backbone was near impossible to get working when it should have been simple. Night 2, one had a complete wifi failure and would only connect to devices within 2ft.
