1.1Gbps
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wire: Screenshot speaks for itself; I actually got faster upload tests than this but  Wireless: Getting like 500Mbps standing right next to the router, which is kinda disappointing. My Eero Pro 6 did about the same. My Eero, however, could not break ~750Mbps wired while this beast can so I guess I'm happy.

Spend $330 less and get the same quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The one star is because this router has decent range. After that, I don't really have much good to say about it if I compare it to some $50 routers out there. First, the most glaring issue: there is no phone support. They've completely discontinued phone support, so the only way you get help is via chat (tier 1 people only, so about all you get from them is to restart the router and to factory reset the modem - after that they send you off to tier 2) and via e-mail. Have you ever tried to troubleshoot a router over e-mail? I do not recommend the experience. Second, the speed is very much below par. I lose 40-50% of my download speed just by plugging this router in. I get 980mbps from a hardline from my modem to my computer. I get 350-600mbps from a hardline from this router to my computer. With no other devices connected. So, you can spend $380 on a router that works for some (based on these reviews) straight out of the box, but turns into a prettier $50 router for others. If you fit into the first category, great! I'm glad you got something worthwhile. If you fit into the second category...well, you are out of luck, because they won't help you, don't care to help you, aren't accessible, and the most frustrating experience I've ever had with support from any company - including my cable and cell phone providers. I paid for a Ferrari. I got a Camry.

Missing critical features for this class router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking on to purchasing this router as it is really cool and being able to see network status and stats on the screen could be very useful. However, I am writing this review to help inform others of two deal breaker features this router is missing compared to other routers in this price range. First it is missing the ability for LAG or link aggregation. This will only be important if you have several wired devices on your network and stream between them locally like a Plex server setup or home security cameras recording to a local NAS.... Second, and most importantly there is no IOT "internet of things" device protection that their competitors make available like NetGear Armor or Asus AIProtection. This feature provides network level scanning for all your "smart" devices that have access to your home network but cannot run their own anti-malware solution(s). Think about the wi-fi connected thermostats, appliances, virtual assistants "smart speakers," garage door openers, door locks. There are also cell phones and tablets but they have protection solutions available. I wanted to purchase this router so I emailed Ubiquiti the parent company and asked if they plan on rolling these features out via a software update at a later point in time. Unfortunately they do not intend on adding this. If you have none of these devices or don't care about security then this, I'm sure could be a great pick. I just wanted to save someone some time and share why there may be better solutions fort he same cost.

Not worth the money, terrible warranty
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When it works it's great, however after a couple months it started rebooting constantly. Contacted support and was told there are no logs to determine why. I asked how do I roll back because I had recently done a firmware update. At first told it wasn't possible, then after some pushing determined it was and was told how. That helped, but it still rebooted sporadically. They offered to do a hardware swap, which ended up being a bit difficult, they wanted me to ship them mine back before they sent a replacement. Told them I can't be without a home router and they did offer to do an exception and send me a new one first. However, they did fail to tell me that I would be responsible for paying the return shipment of their faulty system that was only 3 months old. Well, the new one is also rebooting with no way to troubleshoot a $400 router. For this money I had much higher expectations, never had these problems with my ASUS, and if I could return this I would but Best Buy's return policy it 2 weeks.

2.4GHz Band lasted one year before failing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I now have a $300 paperweight because the 2.4GHz network failed after a software update. Support won't help since its barely out of warranty despite it functioning fine until their software update caused the issue.
