Increased my speeds 3x in the furthest part of my house. I previously had 2 ASUS 2900 routers in a mesh system, this blows that system away. Absolutely worth the price. Ease of setup is unbeatable

Such a nice setup! Amazing design, features and app interface. Really sad I returned these. I have an aging Orbi system with three nodes. The Alien was purchased with another so I had two nodes. I didn’t get the same amount of coverage but the speeds were consistently faster. But because I couldn’t cover the driveway I had to return. Also it was expensive compared to other more capable routers with 6e and wpa3. I’m going to test out the Linksys atlas which I found on sale $699 (unfortunately Best Buy wouldn’t even match Linksys’ own $699 price.

The good, the bad and the ugly! The good: it looks great and is easy to set up. The bad: Its a really big router, its rather expensive, the online documentation does not explain advanced settings. The ugly: No tech support, not consistent with download speed. For some its great, I get the exact download speed I got from my Eero 6. About half of what Spectrum provides (1 gig).

I've had this router for a year now. I can confirm this is the best router I have owned EVER. Although it is lacking advanced controls if you like tweaking your settings and such but, you don't even have to with this device. From being a hardcore Netgear fan and thinking it was normal to have to reboot the router every couple of weeks, this alien router I've never had to reboot. I just works. I have 1GB speed and 25 devices connected. I stream, game and WFH. No issues. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I have owned sooo many routers from various brands. All of them had a point of contention or some flaw or bug that was going to be addressed someday... Now that you see how bitter I am about it let me tell you about this Alien. This thing is Alien because it has had zero issues from day one and speed matching/exceeding what my ISP provides. I thoroughly enjoy this router and I do not feel any regrets towards it or the going price. How much is your time worth and how much will you pay to minimize your frustrations? If this in your budget, you need a router, and want a hassle free experience, then I strongly recommend it.

While this is definitely not the cheapest wifi mesh routers, it is extremely easy to set up and expand the mesh network. It also looks cool. I've had several people that asked me about it when they see it. If you want something that has more advanced capabilities, I suggest looking elsewhere. But, if you want something easy to set up and offers great mesh range and speeds, definitely get this!

Very unique and powerful router. Impressive range and provides stable speeds to connected devices. Although it doesn’t compare to the in depth usage details and network customization options that come with Ubiquiti Unifi devices, what this router provides should be enough for the average consumer/prosumer. Very happy with this router. Although I haven’t tried the absolute best from Asus, Netgear, etc., I don’t need to. I get the speeds that I pay for and most importantly, the connections to each device remains very stable all the time

Very happy with this replacement over a Netgear RAX120 which was never stable and caused many hours for troubleshooting “fun”. The AMPLIFI was very easy to setup and has been solid since. I’ve continued to use 2 Netgear Extenders and they’ve extended the network well for the most part (better luck with the 8800). My only complaint is how they are packaging these - Best Buy does not sell the mesh kit and AMPLIFI does not sell the mesh receiver separate so you would need to buy multiple routers for a full AMPLIFI Alien mesh network.

This has been an excellent alternative to the mesh system I originally wanted. This covers the entire house, and shows all the usage information right on the screen. The App is very simple to use and would recommend this to anyone looking to update our upgrade their Wi-Fi.

I love this router.. great range and amazing performance.. I suggest to get extended protection in case something happens to the hardware. I’ve been having issues with the meshes connecting after a year and a half and their support is delayed and not helpful.

My old router was the TP-Link Archer C4000, which at the time I bought it was top of the line. I did a speed test at different parts of my home and the speed was inconsistent and much lower than the bandwidth that I should get. After I set this little thing up - super easy setup via the app or from a wired connection - I'm consistently getting max speeds throughout my home. Very pleased with how easy it is, how powerful it is, and how cool it looks.

I can not recommend this enough. I have bought 3 of these already. It was the easiest setup of any router you will ever see and had no issues with setup. The app is super simple but still gives you so much control. The touchscreen is an awesome feature that give lots of great quick info of your network. Adding more to create a mesh network is extremely easy. I have had no dropouts or connection issues with any of the routers. My WiFi speeds have never been faster and more stable. It’s a must to get the full advantage of fiber speeds. I have gotten speeds over 400 mbps over WiFi. And it includes free VPN built in to access you network remotely. I ditched the Orbi for this, and it was the best move. The signal is strong and easily covers the house with great WiFi.

Purchased 2 of these to use as a mesh system for my home and I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality and reliability. I’ve not had one issue with these routers and l love the ease of setting them up as well as the ease of use. The app for this product is great as well.

So far so good. I've had this router about a month and it has been delivering what we need for both work and play. Consistently good internet speeds and streaming has been awesome. Would definitely recommend if you have up to about 3,000 sq ft of space you're trying to cover.

Easy setup. Very powerful router. We no longer have any dead spots in our 4100 sq ft home. I love the touch screen. The management software is intuitive but overall light on functionality. I hope they will improve this with software updates over time. I would advise getting the extended warranty as Amplifi is not quite mainstream yet, but the unit carries a heft price.

Perfect for those that work from home and are required to be hardwired for work. Using two of these, I can hardwire into my router thats not actually hardwired to my modem and it shows my connection as being hardwired. No issues with connection or quality of calls that you get from a wifi connection as the mesh connection has speeds near 2000mbps and my ping doesnt increase compared to being hardwired. using my ISP modems internal router I could barley get 200mbps with wifi next to the modem when I pay for gigabit seeds. now I consistently push 700-980mbps depending on proximity to the router. with two of them, I get optimal speeds in my apartment in all areas. One note: they overestimate the range of effectiveness for one router. like wayyyy overestimate, for a 1200sqft apartment I need two to get optimal coverage. using 1 only covered half the apartment before major speed and signal strength occurred. to be fair, they do state that the coverage is max coverage and that it will be unique coverage based on numerous factors, such as building material, walls, interference etc

Absolutely amazing. Super fast. Can steam link and Quest wireless streaming without either end being connected to ethernet. Unbelievable coverage. Better coverage and range than I git with an Orbi +1 satellite. Packed with features and upgrades I only wished my other routers had. Best of all, I can plug my Starlink dish directly into it and bypass the dinky little router it comes with and everything works perfectly... statistics and all!
