this is just like the title suggests--fine for your basic needs. the only BIG complaint is that the cord is horrendously short so that it is almost comical to see the jockeying when trying to manuever the dryer with such a shoet cord. other than that, it is adequate. @@@@@@@@ I would highly recommend this to a friend--with very short arms @@@@@@@

I used this hair dryer while on vacation in Traverse City at the hotel. I tracked it down and was so excited. It has not disappointed either - has cut my drying time in half. Fantastic price for a great dryer!

I purchased this hair dryer because I used in hotels and really liked how quickly it dried my hair. Was very excited to find it on bestbuy.com because I had reward money to spend, so the purchase seemed like a win win. Should have held on to the old dryer I donated to charity. After less than 4 months it refuses to turn on. I've tried multiple outlets and pushed the red and yellow buttons many times. It is dead. Thankfully I do have a mini backup travel dryer as there is no way I can show up at work with air dried hair, not a good look for my fine short hair. I'm very annoyed because I'ven't used the dryer that much in the less than 4 months I've owned. I don't wash my hair every day and I'm often traveling for work and using the dryers in the hotel. There is no one else in my household to use so it. I would estimate I've used it 40 times at most. I looked at the plug to see if it might be a blown fuse that could be replaced however it has weird screws that would require a triangular shaped tool to open. What a shame. It still looks brand new. Will attempt a return.
