One of my movie faves has arrived in a beautifully restored and remastered 4K disc, and it was fantastic seeing it again in the ultimate home viewing setting. Forget streaming, if you own a 4K tv and are not taking advantage of what your tv can deliver, your missing out on a thrilling way to see and hear your favorite films.

A somber meditation on the possibilities of redemption within the ever encroaching shadow of damnation. A loving ode to film noir and classic cinematic detective fiction. An acting tour de force for Mickey Rourke and Robert De Niro. All packaged in an amazing Steelbook design. The audiovisual presentation is great. A most worthy addition to any cinephile's library.

Purchased the limited edition 4K steelbook after hearing good things about the film itself, and transfer. Good film overall if go into it not expecting much. There's even a special guest appearance by Robert Dinero throughout the film. Would definitely recommend as a blind buy! Just research the movie a bit, and if it interests you, grab the 4K.

I have always loved this psychological classic for its foreboding atmosphere. Now made even better in glorious 4K! It's also great to revisit this gem to be reminded of how great these actors are, especially back in their prime, in the '80s(especially Mickey Rourke before his fall from grace). Gorgeous Steelbook, too... highly recommended!

A very strange film with a great cast and director. Lots of violence. Well acted. Great locations. If you buy this remember that it was her appearance in this film that got Lisa Bonet fired from the Cosby show. It's not had to see why.

Most people buying this are probably fans of the film so no need to give my thoughts on it. The steelbook though? Gorgeous design with some hidden details in the artwork. The sleeve only serves to enhance the art of the case itself. The designer(s) really put some care and thought into this one.

What can I say no one else hasn't already. Except, Angel Heart continues to rank in my top 10 films of all-time. I was obsessed with this film during my teens when it finally hit rental shelves. A must see for all fans of not just the genre, but movies in general.

Excellent movie and I am interested in watching this in 4K. The steelbook itself was first-rate and it came in great condition. The slipcover was a nice touch to the overall package.

Beautiful steelbook and 4K with nice slipcover! The artwork on this is stunning, love it all. The movie is decent, if you like Mickey Rourke from back in the day in his main movies, check this one out. Robert De Niro stars. Picture and sound are great with the 4K set up!

This was available for a short time only it seems, so I’m glad I picked it up. The steelbook packaging is really sharp, and this is a stark thriller that seems better now than at the time of release. Great upgrade to picture and sound.

This is such a classic movie. I love the Steel Book treatment and wanted it in my collection. The cast is outstanding and the story is great. The artwork on the cover is extremely good. Don't pass it up. Buy while it's available.

Angel heart is the best psychological horror film. It does inspire me to come up with my own story I plan to make

Mickey Rourke and Alan Parker. Great transfer of any awesome and neglected late 1980's classic. Good double feature with Adrian Lyne's Jacob's Ladder.

Studiocanal has given us a stellar transfer of one of the most underrated films of the 1980s. It is simply one of Alan Parker's best and the transfer does the film justice. A must buy.

This 4K edition of Angel Heart is stunning. The picture and audio are miles better than the dvd versions. It also comes in an attractive steelbook for those who like that sort of thing.

Very, very nice packaging. I was glad to be able to pick it up as I didn't even know they did a 4K transfer. It looks great and the extras are a nice addition.

I feel if you are going to release a movie on 4k, it should be definitive. This is a great movie with amazing performances, and tension that bubbles just under the surface... but this should have been the unrated version. If there is an uncut version, that should ALWAYS be the one put on 4k.

Angel Heart is a hard movie to watch at times. The acting, direction and screenplay are great. This is an older movie but the technical merits are very good.

I enjoyed this movie and it was certainly well done, but I didn't "love it". The catch to the story struck me early on, probably in the first 15 minutes, then it was just a question of waiting to see if I was right! I will probably only watch this movie the one time.
