Best game purchase for the Switch to date. This game is highly contagious, and my son can verify. I like the way this sims game allows you to add friends, and monitor my sons actions, or interactions in the game.

It is a relaxing game where you take your time and is meant to be played over months and months. You can really customize your whole island more and more as you progress towards the story. It's fun and a cute game.

The kids and I have played Animal Crossing since the original Game Cube edition.The graphics are fantastic and the new features for terraforming your island make it a very creative outlet while we self-quarantine.

I've been playing animal crossing games since the GameCube days. If you enjoyed any of them you'll enjoy this one. Personally, I like the 3ds game more than this one because you have to craft a lot of things and your tools are constantly breaking which is tedious and something I greatly dislike. Also, while animal crossing isn't a fast paced game, the game moves pretty slowly initially so you'll have to be extra patient with this entry in the series

If you are familiar with the Animal Crossing series you will be right at home (sorry for the pun) in this island adventure. Fantastic for kids who have a knack for reading and love to just explore and earn on there own. The game is gorgeous!!! The amount you can do is great and good for tons of hours of fun! My only grip is that Beat Buy promised a Tom Nook sticker for pre-ordering. Didn't get it. Also the top of the case was cracked in shipping.

fun for the whole family, only downside is 1 island per console...which i guess is how it has always been. Also, would be nice to have couch co-op be splitscreen instead of always having to bee in the same picture.

Got this during the pandemic lockdown and let me tell you do not pick this up. It will devour your time!! I love this game and it super fun to build and design your island.

My daughter loved the game for her DS and had to have it when it was released for the Switch. This is one of her favorites that she plays during game time. It’s fun for all ages.

I was really excited to play this, and although it's very fun at first, it gets repetitive fast. It's a wholesome idea, but there's only so much you can do.

Ever since I got this game, I just can't stop playing it! It's so fun building your own house and island. I've never played games like this, but a friend suggested it to me, so I tried it and I'm honestly in love!

I have to wait until my wife goes to sleep at night in order to get some game time in, if that tells you anything about how much we like Animal Crossing. Looking to get a second copy soon for my Switch!

Decent game! Lots of things to do and be done (kids did get bored a bit of it for the following reasons). Was a bit tiring trying to have 2 kids play together as they have to "take turns". Yes, they can learn (to share etc life lessons etc) to be the "leader" and "follower" but then it kinda got tiring having to constantly wanting to have their turn. Obviously, i am speaking from ONE switch system for the family situation.

What's bad to say. Its a great family game. Kids will love it. Hundreds of hours over the years will be spent. The seasonal game play is a nice feature. No subscription needed.

This game is very slow and comfy, it's amazing for anyone who just wants to pass a little bit of time here and there and watch some cute animals live their cute lives while you make your island as fun as possible!

Great game for video game fans who want a little escape from their lives. Managing a small island village has never been more enjoyable or creative. Fans of older Animal Crossing games simply must pick this one up.

This game is just wonderful. It’s cute, engaging, and there is so much to accomplish and do. I played other animal crossing games in the past, and thought they were okay, but I LOVE New Horizons.

I’m never bored with this since there’s always a mission and every day, your village or town has something new in it such as fossils or weeds to pull out or new characters who are either visiting or want to move in

A lot of fun. Even the non gamer in the family is playing. Just make sure to have someone who will actively play be the first one to play as they will control the pace of development/upgrades to the island.

Bought this game for my daughter. It came with the bell bag. This is her favorite game! She plays it daily. She has thanked us probably a hundred times for it. I personally do not follow the game. She loves ot!
