Great game. As someone who has played practically every animal crossing game it is so fun, has little touches of the classics, has some new. The details to the game are amazing, the leaf's move in the wind, you can see rain droplets on the windows.

This game is wonderful! There is always something to do! My wife and I both play it. One thing to note is that you can only have one island per switch. Others will be able to build their own home but if you want your own island you need a separate switch. Some things that can be enjoyed are furniture building, farming, fishing, swimming, diving, exploring museums , shopping , and traveling just to name a few. This game is fun for any age! The younger kids love to watch as well ! Some things I like about this game is that it teaches kids to manage money( they have a mortgage that they have to pay off) . If you are kind to neighbors they will give you gifts. You can highly customize your island! Just look up videos on YouTube of some of the crazy things people do!

I’m absolutely hooked, initially I purchased the game to help decompress and lower anxiety. I had no idea that it would not only help me with those things but also helps me connect with others and not drown in television

With all the other games coming out this year, I was surprised to find that Animal Crossing was the title I was most looking forward to. Best Buy shipped my pre-order right on time, and thanks to the early patch release from Nintendo, I was able to jump in right away! I've only dabbled in New Leaf before this newest installment, but this series isn't story heavy and you won't miss much aside from maybe some attachment to reoccurring characters. The one-island-per-Switch limitation is a downer, but my fiancé and I are making the most of it and enjoying the extra challenge of working together to complete the in-game goals while shaping our island into a place we both enjoy. With the current state of the world keeping us all indoors, exploring and developing your own tropical paradise is exactly what we all need right now. I definitely recommend this game as a way to escape, unwind, and wait out the days until you can go out and join the real world again.

This is my first time ever playing Animal Crossing and it’s been enjoyable. It’s calming. I can go at my pace and make my island how I want. I haven’t used the multiplayer so I can’t speak on that. However, if you’re looking for a time killer and a game you can basically create to your liking, it’s a good choice.

As im sure you know already, Animal crossing: New Horizons is a fantastic game! You begin on a desolate island and work your way up to and beautifully vibrant and lush landscaped. Through hard work fishing, to getting lucky finding fossils, you will earn money to upgrade your island and attract new residents. This game is perfect for any age. I travel a lot, and this is my go to game while on a plane. There is tons to do and you never get bored perfecting your island.

I asked my husband for this game and the Animal Crossing Switch console and he gladly gifted them to me so I would stop my online shopping. Well...it worked! I no longer shop online (not to the extent I was used to) since I began this game in May2021. I am not a gamer and have never played video games till now. I cannot put it down!! Now my hubby complains about how much time I invest in playing this game. There have been heated arguments about how much time I spend on playing this game. Thank God for baseball/football games since I can play my game without conflict while hubby watches games. I feel like an addict—-automatically waking at 5am to play this amazing game! Now I’m going to buy my daughter a switch console and AC game so that we can share some game time together (visiting each other’s island). She’s away at school so it will be fun to connect with her via this game platform. This game is FUN, wholesome, and highly addictive.

This game came out in the right time given the unfortunate circumstances of the pandemic. I always have had animal crossing in the back of my mind, but finally decided to buy this version when it released. To my surprise several cousins, friends and even my brother (who went out and bought a switch), also bought the game. To this day of the review, we continue playing this game nonstop. It keeps us connected while we are all apart for the time being. Visiting each others islands, hosting fishing tournaments, showing off our clothing and mansions and criticizing our villagers, Animal Crossing is a fun and immersive experience. I've also made international friends to boot. So if you are still deciding or on the fence, I hope this review convinces you to get it. You won't regret it!

Animal Crossing is such a fun cute game. I’ve been a fan of the series since the GameCube era and have played it on the Wii, DS and 3DS. This is the best Animal Crossing game in the series. The online play and the terraforming later in the game make it so much more enjoyable. Hopefully in future updates there will be many more quality of life improvements. The only real negative is that you only get one island per Nintendo Switch, no matter how many users or different copies of the game that you buy.

9.5/10 Nearly Perfect! I have been a fan since the Gamecube version and this one has by far the most quality of life improvements in the entire series. I just wish you could craft multiples of the same item all at once instead of one by one. Also, online play/local multiplayer isn’t the greatest implementation but it’s still a fun addition. I am excited to see the different items, recipes, and events that are coming up throughout the year. Having an absolute blast playing with my wife and kids online.

First off, the pick up process was quick and easy as always. The store was kept sanitary under protocol, and the product was in great condition when I picked it up. As for the game, it’s so relaxing and the perfect game to play if you want to escape reality. There’s something to do every day, and it’s easy to get lost in this game for hours. I have played since New Leaf and recently the mobile version Pocket Camp, and I can say this game feels a lot like the classic Animal Crossing games but of course with new features that keep you busy at work on your own island getaway. Highly recommended!

Everything is at your own pace which is great!!! The game play runs on a 24 hour clock in which the game resets at 5 a.m- which is the start of a new day. You get to live with 10 cute little animals and design your island to how you see fit!!! You can make hybrid flowers, go to mystery islands and have up to 8 friends come over to visit your island at once. You get a museum in which you can put fossils, fish, pieces of art and bugs into it whenever you want.

A Fun and Relaxing Game for All Ages

Animal Crossing New Horizons, is a Sandbox game where you can play at your own pace and leisure. The game centers on you traveling to an unmanned island with Tom Nook and forge a beautiful island getaway to attract future residents to live on the island. What's cool about this game is that there are pre-made island layouts and you can select islands that is based on the Northern and Southern hemisphere of the world. Each hemisphere has their own wildlife and environments. Once you get into the Island and pitched your tent you can play the game however you see fit. The beauty of the Animal Crossing games, is the sense of freedom and exploration. There is no sense of urgency and you can take as much time you need to complete certain key objectives to progress the game forward. The collecting and crafting aspects in this game is very easy and straightforward. Seeing your personal island come to live is very satisfying. Another cool feature for this version of the game is that you can allow 8 other players to visit your island via Online or Local play. So, you can get your friends and family to visit your islands and play tourist. However, my only issues I have with the game is that you can only have safe file on the Switch's console and have multiple islands on one game is not possible at the moment. Also, whenever a person visits or leaves your island there is a message that interrupts the flow of the game and you cannot be do any activities when the message appears. Overall, despite those issues the game is still very fun and relaxing and fun for all ages.

Animal Crossing is a game you either love or hate. If you have a lot of creativity and patience, it will provide many hours of fun. I picked it up for my birthday to give myself something to do, and have already invested 115 hours into the game. I've spent quite a bit of that time bringing over some of my personal works/art projects and building tributes to various things (including my late father). It's nice to take everything slow sometimes too. Spend an evening just getting to know your villagers, go fishing, that sort of thing.

I've never played an Animal Crossing game before this year. I started with Pocket Camp to check it out and loved it so I bought New Horizons. I'm really enjoying it. So many ways to make my island the way I want it. You can take your time with goals or hit them all sooner so you can spend more time just doing what you want. It's definitely a game you can just relax with while you play it, even if you're workingnto hit the goals asap.
