    I got this as a do-it-all charger-adapter-battery for travel. Anker has been pretty good in the past and I was excited for this. I have had SO MUCH TROUBLE getting this blasted thing to consistently charge my devices. It irritates me every single day that I'm not at home. I was prompted to write this review just now because I've been fighting with the thing all day to get it to charge my phone and my laptop while it's plugged in to a wall outlet -- something it is explicitly supposed to be able to do -- and it resolutely refuses to do that. If I unplug my phone, my laptop starts charging. If I plug in my phone, my laptop stops charging. My laptop battery should be at 100% now but is less than 50% because I've been fighting with this damnable thing for hours. When I don't have an outlet handy, it's supposed to provide portable power to keep my devices charged. It doesn't reliably do that either. I have fought and fought and fought to get it to charge my phone and been able to get a successful charge out of it like 10% of the time. This product has damaged the Anker brand for me and I hate it. One additional star for being a cool idea. I just wish the idea arrived in the form of a reliable product.

    I am a total fan of other Anker products and this one surely did not disappoint. I love its compactness and its ability to power up both my iPad and MacBook. If you’re looking for a portable battery that can power up laptops as well as tablets and phones, this is the one to get.

    This would be a 5 star with a bigger battery or a slimmer design. The biggest pro is it has pass-through charging so you can plug it in and charge it while also charging your phone/device. It has been good for using as a power brick at the office or an extra charger and power bank when we go to the lake but I ended up buying a bigger battery for actually travelling with.
