I should have been more observant about the item description, but I made an assumption that an Anker product would have some kind of electronics involved. Receiving the package and seeing their slogan "Charge Fast, Live More" on three sides of the box and the (picture included) back of the box calling themselves "America's Leading Charging Brand" with a bullet point touting "Fast-Charging via Leading Technology" certainly did nothing to disabuse me of that notion. All that said, this is a solid mount and it comes with an adhesive dash base in case (like me) your vents are uncooperative to the main body's design. PROS - Sturdy construction - Choice in bases - Inexpensive CONS - No charging (dead horse beaten) - Doesn't come in black (this is going in my car, not my bathroom)

I tried quite a few mounts with some featues such as auto open and close mount for phones or with wireless charging, they were all bulky and would take a few seconds to set up . This mount is simple, solidly built and easy to just pop on with a strong magnetic hold better than some other magsafe car mounts Ive tried. I already have a nice two port car charger so i didnt need one that came with a subpar car charger. Definetly something i would and have bought my mother as well.

Keep in mind, this mount does not have built in charging. Don't take off stars for that, because it doesn't claim to. I really like the fact that the vent mount has the extra stabilizing wings, which keep it from swaying. You will need a Magsafe Case for this to work (or no case at all, if you're so inclined).

It works well be it on the stick on pedestal or the vent clip. One beef with the vent clip though; once you attach everything, it just out really far; YMMV but I disliked it enough to use a different product. Magsafe magnet is strong enough though. It's not bad, just not perfect

It’s a on phone mount to the vent. With magnets attached to back of the phone. But I didn’t feel like too secure and afraid will drop my phone.

I like this mount but I don’t like how the MagSafe doesn’t work with certain phone cases

I tried a few MagSafe car mounts. I really like this one. The vent mount and the 3m sticky mount gives you a ton options. I would buy It again and again.

I recommend it has a strong hold, it is a great item!!!
