The mere fact that it has the cord as a handle to hold/use for carry is extremely useful. When i went to disney land recently it took up like no space in my bag and was just such a well worth purchase. I have now lent it to my mom who is using it to travel all over italy and has constantly called me letting me know how easy it is to carry.
