I frequently work form home and would love a good speaker phone for the iPhone. This is my third attempt. Here is the verdict, it works. What I like about this device is it comes with a case and connection was simple. While i stated it works, it doesn't sound as good as the internal microphone, built in speaker, or air-pod. These devices sound better and clearer. With that said, the sound quality is still good and is not poor by any means. What does sound goo is the speaker. You will benefit form better sound quality over the iPhone speaker. When you connect it to you computer for conferencing calls, it works great and sounds great. My only with is the microphone sounded a bit better.

Conference calls have become a way of life. A speakerphone can help make the calls go smoother, if it works well and is easy to use. The Powerconf from Anker nearly gets this right. It’s very easy to use, whether wired to your laptop’s USB port or with Bluetooth to your phone or tablet. The microphones deliver clear, sharp audio at a very reasonable volume on calls. The speaker can be a little bit quiet however. When taking it out of the package, it’s clear that Anker has put much thought into this unit. It’s compact and lightweight. It comes with a protective case so you can throw it in your bag without much thought. It has a large battery allowing for long calls without depleting your cell battery as much. The Powerconf comes with a USB-A to USB-C cord. It will also work with a USB-C to USB-C cable, depending on your laptop’s capabilities. A clearly labeled bluetooth button also makes it easy to pair with your phone or other bluetooth enabled device. I first connected to a laptop. It connected with no drivers needed via USB. It then showed up as another option for an audio device. Using Zoom and Go to Meeting worked very well. My voice was clear to callers and caller’s voices were clear to me. Even when I was in the next room over from where my daughter was having a noisy virtual class, no one on the call was able to hear the background. There were some times when voices that I wanted to hear faded into the background. It was more likely when multiple people were talking and the speakerphone was trying to determine which was the most dominant to record. Fortunately, I didn’t have that issue often as most people take turns talking. Using it in place of the speakerphone on my cell was just as good as the laptop. It was louder than the phone on its own. I was told that the voices around the table were clearer than just using the phone’s microphones. In addition, I was able to charge my phone while still using it and without having to plug in. Overall, I’ve found the Anker PowerConf to be well made, well designed, and well ready to take on the mobile world. For the price of a good bluetooth headset, this will likely make meetings more productive when we’re not using a wired conference phone. This also makes a nice way to pick up the whole family when we’re doing Zoom calls with my folks. A nice double win!

It has been years since I used a speakerphone for PC based IP calls. I really did not see the need but started to notice the last few months that the mic and speakers were just not cutting on my work Surface Pro. Like so many people out there, I’ve been forced to work from home and live on Zoom, Fuze and Microsoft Teams for communication. I can honestly say that the Anker Power Conference Bluetooth Speakerphone made the world of difference. I have had zero people telling me they cannot understand what I am saying and everyone I asked stated my calls were perfectly clear. One of the issues I’ve had with my Surface Pro for calls is the microphone would pick up too much background sound when my air conditioner turned on. Not anymore, the noise cancellation and multiple microphone design that isolates the speaker that Anker has in this speakerphone is perfect. In review: - The audio pickup is simply fantastic. It is just great, no other way to put it. - Speech is clear and easy to understand - Top notch quality and compact design with a carry case. It feels like it is a combination of high quality plastic and aluminum. - Bluetooth or USB connection. I used both but ended up using the USB . The speakerphone was up and running in under a minute. - Built in power bank to charge USB devices. - Powerful speaker for it’s size. The speakerphone highest volume setting was actually too loud for me (but the sound remained clear.) - Easy to use touch controls. The Anker Power Conference Bluetooth Speakerphone hits every mark. The price is right. The design is right. The features are right. 5 stars.

It was so easy to set up. Directly out of the box, hit power and connect bluetooth phone - it was working in 15 seconds flat! The sound is crisp and clear. I really like the sleek design and feel of the unit - nice and portable especially with the protective case. I've so far been pretty impressed with Anker products and even more impressed with their customer service if you need help or to solve a problem.

This is a great buy for anybody! The build is quality, the mics are crisp and the speaker is finely tuned and loud! Anker products have always been my go to for electronics due to their quality and great customer service and this conference speaker is right in line with the rest! Thanks Anker!!!!

Its honestly great obviously not for music seeing as it has no bass. but the sound quality on the other end is unparalleled!! I can literally be walking around the room and it souned like i had on headphones.

Works wonderfully! Microphone has good pick-up even up to ~8 ft from the unit. Sound is very good quality. Very straightforward/quick to set up. Would recommend.

Works excellent! Very clear and helpful while working from home. Comes in a beautiful case packaged well, would recommend if looking for this type of product!

I've been using the Anker PowerConference Bluetooth Speakerphone for about a week, and it';s been good. I use my phone all day for calls, and this device has helped alot. I had background noise and even music playing. The callers could hear me through them both. My issue is when I would turn the volume up on the device itself, the connection would become staticky to the other caller. I have to disconnect it and connect it for the issue to be resolved. Other than that, it is a great device if you are constantly making calls, and want to be more mobile.

Decent budget speakerphone that doubles as a speaker which is good to listen to podcasts/audiobooks/etc. Looks nice on my desk, too.

Speaker feature worked great in a meeting room holding 12 attendees. Microphone pickup very spotty. Three attendees came through clearly, the others spotty or simply garbled. Will run one more test with a different laptop to try to isolate the problem, but disappointing on initial use.

Unfortunately, no matter what adjustments I made no one could ever hear me and the sound I received was very muffled and unclear. Throwing in the trash after a couples months of trying to use.
