This was very easy to use for the iPhone 7 Plus when you first get this you have to charge this. And when it’s all done you put your phone and then you charge it with a lightning it charges fast and quick.

I play quite a few games on my phone so I was excited to give this a try! Unfortunately the execution on this left more to be desired.
Let's start with the good:
It charges my phones fast and efficiently. The battery life on this seems to be decent.
It has a fan to keep my phone cool- although the fan is a hair loud; this is a unique feature.
This is expandable and fits a variety of phones. While it comes with a lightning cable, it seems to work for iPhone as well.
Now the flaws:
I really wanted to like this, but in the end it was extremely difficult and bulky to hold! It also does not have the charger built in so there is a cord that goes from the unit to the phone. When holding the unit this gets in the way of your fingers!
I have to take my phone case off to fit it properly due to my popsocket and you have to out in gently to not push any of the side buttons.
Overall I would not use this if i am actually using my phone. Only if it needs a charge on the fly and I can set it and forget it.

The is a good portable battery to give you a little more power when playing games or watching videos. The down sides are you have to plug in a charge cable to keep your phone charging while playing. It does not have a wireless charging feature. The battery capacity is low.
The pros of the battery is extra battery power, it have a built in stand and a built in fan if your phone runs hot while gaming.

Good Handheld For Mobile Gamers

After recently discovering the Anker brand of accessories, I’ve added them to my list of choices when looking for tech-related items.
I’ve unfortunately shied away from playing games on my mobile devices since I find trying to do so a frustrating, cumbersome experience. So I considered whether this Anker PowerCore Play 6700 would change all that. The idea of being able to play mobile games, while also charging my phone, certainly sounded promising.
One thing to be aware of is that if you have a case on your cell phone, your phone may not fit properly in this Anker handheld device. And I would say that most people DO have some type of case on their phone. I’m not even talking about the ‘heavy duty’ “military grade” all-encasing types that add a lot of bulk to the phone. I’m speaking of the cases that simply sheath your phone and provide a minimal amount of protection from drops or scratching (such as the one on mine). I’d also hazard to say that I’m not the only one who would be unwilling to remove their phone from its case every time they wanted to use this item. However, even with the case on, my phone fit and stayed put, although I was mindful that the phone wasn’t as properly ‘in place’ as it was surely intended to be. Now, I did also try using this device with an older model cell phone (with no case on it), and my phone fit snug and securely within the PowerCore Play handheld. So that was good to know.
That being said, I did find holding onto the texturized grips to be comfortable, even for extended lengths of time gaming. The plug-in ports were conveniently placed and easily accessible. The fan, while not overly powerful, did a fair enough job. The soft, smooth rubberized surface which cradles your cell phone within the handheld, is really quite nice, too. And the adjustable sides, while having a “strong” spring-like mechanism, isn’t so strong as to cause concern about potentially damaging your phone. The ‘kick-stand’ was also a great additional feature, allowing you to use the device as a holder to watch videos in landscape mode.
My overall opinion of this Anker PowerCore Play 6700 was positive, although I’d only recommend this device for people who really do enjoy using their mobile phone for gaming.

Very Good Battery

I have a couple phones I have used this with. I have a OnePlus 7T and a iPhone 11. The iPhone fits well without removing the case. The OnePlus I have to remove the case, the length of the phone is at the very edge of how wide the grip will extend.
As for a battery, this works like any other battery. It also has a cooling fan in case the battery or phone starts getting warm. Overall you can recharge or keep charges for a great length of time. The nice part is the battery is attached to the phone.
Just a reminder, this will charge the phone via a cable. This does not have Qi charging built in.
Now for why I dropped a star. First, the controller grip is quite smooth which also makes it quite slick. If you have to remove your phone from the case, it is unprotected on half the phone. On the plus side the grip gives the dimensions and feel of a console controller.
The second reason I dropped a star. This is only usable in landscape. If your game is portrait or you prefer portrait, you are now trying to hold a console controller sideways while doing touch controls. Doable, but you need some large hands.
The third issue I have, whatever button you have inside the controller grip...it is easy to push. It is frustrating accidentally turning the phone off or having the volume controls show onscreen while gaming. Best advice, don't have the phone the whole way inside the controller grip, leave a little space at the bottom between grip and bottom of phone.
Overall the battery is great and adds significant life to the phone battery. Charging the battery takes a decent amount of time, it is not a quick charge battery. I would recommend it, but know what you are getting.

Charger for playing games

The Anker PowerCore Play 6K is a portable charger designed for mobile gaming. It will charge your phone well even if you're not actually on it, with a 6700mAh capacity. However, the way the phone sits and the shape make it clear it's meant for games where you hold the phone sideways.
It's a reliable charger with either a 15W output for the USB-C port or 12W output for the USB-A port. Not a huge difference for the average user. It's enough to keep your phone going, charging it faster than the battery will go down while you are using the phone. It comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable, which can be used to charge your phone if that's what your phone uses, and flipped around to recharge the PowrCore charger. For me, that's the only cord I need, but if you have an iPhone, you'll need a different one to connect your phone, but it is compatible with those phones too. The issue would be the size of your phone.
When you turn the phone sideways, you can slide it open a little to fit your phone in and let go so it'll grip the phone in place. My phone fit both in the case and without. The inner part is soft to the touch and keeps the phone from slipping. It fits phones up to 6.5 inches. That's including the case, and a bulky one ir a wallet case wouldn't fit. Mine has a compartment for cards in the back, but still fit well. The box has markings on it which are in mm, but you can hold your phone up to the back of the box to measure your phone. This way you can tell before you open it if it will fit.
The charger is a matte black with some shiny black accents. It feels very comfortable in my hands, not heavy or bulky. It reminds me of the way nintendo changed their handhelds from the way the 3DS/DS is just rectangular and the Switch has grips for greater comfort, especially when playing for hours. It's a controller-shaped charger. After plugging the phone in and pressing the button on the left side, it starts charging and the fan turns on. The fan can be turned off, but it keeps the phone and the charger from getting too hot. That is probably the best feature to me- keeping my phone cooler when I'm on it for a long time.
If your game isn't one that is sideways on the phone, the ergonomic shape would be a little less useful, but it would still work for charging and cooling the phone. The battery life is great too. The box says 30+ hours, meaning you can use it for multiple sessions before recharging the PowerCore. This Anker device feels solid, like it'll last a long time. The only small part is the stand that can pop out in the back, but it doesn't feel like it will break easily. I'm happy with this charger.

Great powerbank made especially for gamers. Still good even if you don't game that much. Not a controller really; the only button is to switch the built in fan on/off. Yes it has a fan which the manual recommends using when charging to protect the powerbank and will probably be good for your phone battery if you're using it while charging. The fan is very quiet and doesn't really seem to use much power. I personally haven't noticed any issues with heat with or without the fan but again it may protect both your phone and the powerbank in the long run.
Not wireless as described in the specs on BB. You need a cable (included) to charge it or your phone. Not sure why bb site says wireless charging.
Very comfortable grip and lots of juice for extended gaming sessions. Makes gaming much more fun for me and I don't have to worry so much about draining my phone battery. Holds my Razer phone 2 securely as well as my Sony Xperia XZ2. Not really for larger phones; it will extend to 6.5" in length so measure your phone to make sure. Not screen size but length of your phone. Even if it won't fit you can still use it as a powerbank. Also has a kickstand, good for watching videos or just to see your phone better.
Gamers need this! Get one!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. It's unusual for this product to be acting like this, and we'd love to get you what you need!
If possible, please try the following steps to see if the issue persists: - If another known working cable helps - If the PowerCore works properly with other phones/devices or not
