Power Station Bundle Built for Any Adventure

Anker/Solix continues to refine the portable power space, this feature rich model is no exception. I have other portable power devices that go way back to lugging heavy sealed lead acid batteries encased in a wheeled suitcase style. These products have come ALONG way since those early days. You get 7 versatile ports in a neat space saving design. This ultra portable and ready for any adventure portable power bank will become a mission critical addition to any gear list.
Unboxing was a breeze and this power bank came packaged with their rugged and outdoor rated solar panel. I did take advantage of the dual charging (140w) inputs to maximize the charge time and was fully charged in less than two hours from the out of box 20% charge. While it was charging I downloaded the Anker mobile app and was pleasantly surprised with how much info is shared. Battery temps, state of charge and individual details from all 7 ports. Pretty slick and the first Anker branded item I own that has this connected feature. I also appreciated the extension and adaptor that came standard with the solar panel, I will be able to utilize it with other Anker branded power banks.
One random call out that I was not expecting was the clarity of the integrated display, the previous models had a very basic, limited display while this one almost seems like a lcd screen. I was able to verify that in direct sunlight performance is not impacted, but in a pinch you can also reference the mobile app for the same information and so much more.
This model paired with the 60w solar panel, which will charge to 80% in approximately 4 hours in ideal conditions, can give you more than enough power on demand to keep all your devices fully charged. I have used this to charge laptops, cellphones, drones, bluetooth speakers, LED light strands, smart watches, and portable gaming consoles. This model does lack a 120v standard wall outlet but does have a slightly larger version available if that is a requirement. I choose this one and haven’t been inconvenienced.
Build design and quality are typical Anker/Solix standards, smartly laid out and stout construction. They do highlight on their website the durability of the build construction. The two ways to carry this model provides options depending on the activity. The layout of the ports allow you to connect and utilize them all at the same time if necessary. The bonus pop up LED light will be used more than you expect and compliments this models Swiss-army knife utility.
They claim this model is 30% smaller vs the competition when comparing same power storage capacity. I paired this with the accessory carry strap and feel this power bank can tag along for any hike or outdoor adventure. Anker/Solix has also integrated their “infinipower” technology which utilizes industrial grade components and smart temperature control to maximize and protect the lifespan of the battery bank.
Overall, the design and layout of this power bank when paired with the packable solar panel provides you endless charging options for all your power hungry technology. This will become a constant when packing for any future adventures!

Versatile Charging, Long Lasting Power

There is a lot to like about this solar generator and power bank. It can charge up with solar, a car socket, or usb type c. The storage is large at 90,000 mAh. I like that there are many usb outlets on it and I really like the pop up light on the top.
When I received this, the first thing I did was charge it up with a 100w usb c charger. It seemed to go very fast. A couple of days later I had a power outage and I was able to use this to keep a laptop charged up for work. The next day, power was back, but I charged the generator with the solar panels. This worked really well, much better than I expected. I wasn’t monitoring it, but leaving it outside in full sun, it was fully charged in just a few hours. The solar panels are light and thin. They also fold up quite compact. You could even strap the panels to a backpack, which is pretty clever. You could also charge it up with the car adapter.
My only complaint is that it is pretty heavy. The straps do make it easy to carry, though. Overall, this has been great to use and the many charging options are great.

Anker's SOLIX C300X is a portable power anchor!

Anker's SOLIX C300X DC Solar Generator is a fine addition to camping and in my case, motorcycle traveling. It fits easily in one of the saddlebags of my touring bike and I have used it to charge my phone within the saddlebag while the phone is connected to my Bluetooth helmet allowing me to listen to music while crossing the deserts of California and Arizona!
There is a built in pop-up light that provides more than adequate lighting in the dark of the desert when accessing my motorcycles trunk and saddlebags, which do not have built-in lighting, so this was a much used feature during stops while night riding. The output to the light is adjustable via a push-button to the right of the unit's power button. There are 3 settings of 1, 2 or 3 W(atts) accessed by pushing that right button 1, 2 or 3 times and indicated by a lit up indicator on the left of the small screen and time left using the light is shown on the right of the screen. Handy!
This Power Supply is power packed and allowed me to charge my Dell Inspiron 16 7620 laptop 7 times before I needed to recharge the Anker. For reference, the battery level on my Dell was at between a low of 45% TO 60%. I was also able to charge my iPhone 14 (from a fully charged SOLIX C300X) on a daily basis for a full week of use with no problems.
The unit weighs in at just over 6 lbs. but was easily managed by myself (I am a senior citizen!) with the included carrying strap. I carried it low on my bike in either of my saddlebags and again, it was a welcome addition to my motorcycle travels! When you are crossing the deserts there are still times when cell signals are weak or non-existent and that is when your cell phone will likely drain its battery searching for a signal. Having the Anker SOLIX C300X with me gave me peace of mind that my phone's battery was going to be up to charge regardless!
On motorcycle trips I carry my iPad with me and the Anker easily kept it charged. I also used a DC Fan in my saddlebags to keep my phone cool while charging it as I toured on my motorcycle.
The button to the left of the small screen is for activating the Bluetooth and Wifi on the unit.
Press once: Turns on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for app connection.
Press for 2 seconds: Turns off Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
Press for 7 seconds: Resets Bluetooth and Wi-F
Upon downloading the application for my iPhone, I used it to do firmware updates to the Anker SOLIX C300X. Easily done and highly recommended! Once connected to the app communication via your phone can be via built-in Bluetooth or you can connect the unit to your WiFi. I chose the simplicity and ease of Bluetooth but it is easily joined to my WiFi if that what I want to use!
You must download the app to access the unit but doing so will allow the following functions:
Turn the power station on or off.
Adjust screen brightness.
Monitor the remaining battery life and charging time.
View output power and which ports are in use.
Control the standby duration setting.
Receive alerts for low temperature, overload, or high-temperature conditions.
Perform firmware updates.
During my testing I also fully charged the unit, shut it down and then waited 2 weeks to see how it held a charge. My results? After two weeks the unit retained a charge of 100%! That is outstanding! The Anker SOLIX C300X also comes with a Solar Charger but during my testing we had so much rain this was not possible for me to do with any degree of success but I will be using that feature in the future believe me!
I cannot recommend this wonderful product enough! It really is versatile and easy to use and it will be going with me on my motorcycle trips throughout the coming years. It is that useful and easily carried in my motorcycle's saddlebags or in my car or truck! Highly recommended and a really outstanding product!

Great Portable Battery!

Anker is a company that has made quite a name for itself over the last few years. Their battery packs, cables, and USB hubs are among the best quality products you can find. So, it only makes sense for them to be taking things a step further and building high-capacity batteries for camping and generators!
Initial unboxing of the C300X the unit is solid but not too heavy with a nice black matte finish to it. There’s a clear and crisp display on the front that shows the battery percentage and the amount of wattage going to the device you’re charging. Out the box it does require a charge to get to full power. I was surprised that the battery doesn’t come with a USB-C power adapter. It does come with a USB-C cord but not having a proper adapter that can fast charge the device seems like a cheap oversight. The battery has a light on the top of it with 3 different levels of brightness that is very handy. The device itself has 5 charging ports. 2 of the ports are 2-way USB-C 140w for fast charging. There’s also a 100W USB C a 15W USB C and 2 USB-A’s. The device can charge through the car port and included are Solar Panels to recharge. You also can connect the battery to their app using Bluetooth that shows the remaining battery capacity and how much energy is being used by the devices connected.
During testing I connected my Iphone 16 pro that was low on battery and was pleasantly surprised to see it only took about 3-5 percent of the overall battery on the C300x to fully charge my device. Plugging multiple devices in at once like a macbook, iphone and switch the battery handles it beautifully. I could see how this would be an ideal device to have camping or in a power outage as the Solar Panels will allow it to be completely portable. Even in a power outage the battery will last through the night powering all your electronic devices and then can recharge in the morning! I haven’t been able to test how quickly the solar panels recharge but I’m looking forward to using them in the future.
Overall I am very happy with the performance of the C300X. The battery is portable enough to be a great solution for anyone who needs a battery on the go and would be an ideal for camping or power outages.

Great Power Bank!

This is an impressive compact generator from one of the most reliable brands on the market for power banks. We use it often on our back covered deck when spending time outside. It's great for keeping a phone or bluetooth speaker charged during extended use. Guests love that they can top off their phones without having to worry, and the light on top adds a nice touch in the evening.
Setup for the power generator itself is very straightforward. You'll want to plug it in and charge it to 100% before using it, and also download the Anker app so you can update the firmware. I'm sure you're thinking, "great, another app." Trust me, I get it. But the app is fairly simple to use and does allow you to monitor the unit and control the light remotely. More importantly, it's needed to get firmware updates, and Anker does not require a sign in to use it. I found the app useful, but it's essentially a digital version of the "dashboard" on the front of the unit. It was interesting to be able to see the output of each port in real time, and if you have multiple devices, you can create a whole system in the app. It's a nice feature.
The solar panel, I haven't had a lot of time to test out, but it's kind of clumsy. It folds up into a tight square with a carrying handle, but it does have some weight to it. I view this as a nice tool for an avid camper, but that's really the only use case I can think of outside of a multi-day power outage. I don't know how stable it would be either. Even just setting it up inside the house it seemed like it wanted to fall over. If you are able to prop it against something solid, it's probably fine, but otherwise it seems like you would have to pay close attention to it to make sure it's still upright.
Overall, it's a great power bank with nice features and companion app. Campers and people who like to spend time outdoors will love this, and it could come in very handy if the power goes out with it's ability to keep more than just a cellphone charged like most basic battery bricks. I definitely recommend it!

A Good Portable Powerbank

The Anker Solix C300X is a solid portable powerbank. I'm a fan of Anker products for phones and was excited to see how this power bank would perform. The C300X comes with a bevy of bells and whistles. In box you get a USB-C charging cable, detachable carry handle straps, folding solar panel, and dc adapter cables for the solar panel. The actual power bank can be connected to the Anker app to control and track battery levels and even has a built in lantern with adjustable brightness levels and is accordian designed so it can be opened upwards or collapsed down to adjust the amount of light you need. Its loaded with connection ports ( 2 x USB A ports, 4 USB C ports, and 12V car charger port) so you can charge up to 7 devices and be charged by 3. The included solar panel is foldable and easily stored, it is the 60W option and takes about 4-5hrs to charge (depends on weather conditions and sunlight). There are some pros and cons. I'll start with the cons, certain accesories should be included but aren't and will require you to spend more money. The solar panel is a 60W but Anker sells a 100W option which cuts charge time in half, idk why they dont make the 100W the default and only option as it is more efficient. Anker also sells the 12V car adapter separately which again should be included but isn't and requires you spend a little more money. These two reasons are why I took one star away. The Pros are that this power bank is excellent for travel or recreation use. The built in lantern is good for night activities, most of the USB-C ports are high wattage and will fast charge most handheld devices (phones, tablets, wireless headphones), and the solar panel is easy to store and transport so less clutter. I really wanted the Anker C300X for emergency purposes to keep certain devices charged like when heavy storms hit and there isn't power for days, but now I'm excited to try it out on fishing trips and outings. I would absolutely recommend the Anker Solix C300X.

Overall, the Anker Solar Generator SOLIX C300 holds a long-lasting life. I had several charges from one full charge on this battery source. The charge to the Anker takes nearly 24 hours, but it goes a long way to charge all my devices. I didn’t try using both USBC ports simultaneously to charge the generator. There are several ports: 2 USBs, 4 USBCs, and a cigarette. I feel that there should be more charging ports for as large as it is.
There’s a light at the top that is handy for outdoors - especially on a recent camping trip. There are 2 levels of brightness for the light. The Anker came with a solar charging panel that appeared to be very complex but was actually very easy to use. The solar charge was much faster than the electric charge (using only one USBC port). To my surprise, the solar method is preferred. The actual panels open up to cover a large area but condense into a notebook-sized, compact, easy-to-transport carrying device.
Lastly, the Anker has a built-in (removable) carry strap that makes it easy to transfer from one location to the other. This is handy considering how heavy the device is. It weighs roughly 13 lbs. and makes my camping tote much heavier. If my camping tote didn’t have wheels, I wouldn’t travel with this Anker, although it lasts through several charges for several devices over several days.
This Anker is handy, but not convenient. I also feel the value is lacking for the price.

This Anker solar generator can come in handy in several situations - planned or unplanned. It would be great to take with you camping, to the beach or pretty much anywhere you won't have access to electric power. There are various ports available (just read the specifications for the details) but the main thing that I feel is lacking is at least one AC outlet. If an actual outlet would've been included I think this would be at least a 4.5 star product. Once the generator is fully charged, I think one would be hard pressed to run the battery down - it really has that much capacity. The built in light is a nice feature to have whether you're outside and it's dark or you're at home but your power has gone out. One thing I wish it had come with was a carrying case - I think that would've been an excellent addition to the package and would really make me think Anker was being thoughtful in anticipating customer needs. However, that one minor gripe aside I don't think you can go wrong with this as long as you don't need an actual AC outlet.

Beefy power bank with an identity issue

There was a period of time not so long ago that I started an obsession over power banks. They're not unlike office supplies in that sense…I will spend a stupid amount of money on things that I rarely use, but that I think are really cool. But rechargeable batteries aren't all that cool (just like mechanical pencils, as some might argue).
It wasn't until about 5 years ago that I started to appreciate all of the battery banks I had amassed. When I began writing reviews as a hobby, I would connect external LED light panels to them to help with lighting when taking pictures. Their portability was awesome, and I used them a lot. And because LEDs take very little energy to power, they lasted a while.
Around the same time, a few significant storms caused power outages that lasted for a while, and my battery banks came in handy again. Using those same LED light panels, I was able to make sure lighting was available when needed throughout the house, which made my wife and kids feel much better.
The largest bank I owned before the Solix C300X DC Portable Power Station was an Anker 40,000 mAh, and after only a year I've needed it several times over. So naturally, this C300X with over double the capacity and the ability to recharge with a solar panel is a home run, right?
Maybe, maybe not. I will admit, it's portable enough that it becomes a no brainer to take on long road trips or camping, as it doesn't add that much bulk and provides some basic niceties if you really want to use a phone or laptop and have no other power sources. It has 4 USB-C ports (2 of which offer simultaneous 140W charging, provided you have power bricks and an extra cord) that offer from 15W all the way to 140W output, 2 12W USB-A ports, and a 12V car charger port. Any of these can be used, in any combination, for charging devices, although using them all simultaneously will impact total output (the C300X has a total output of 300W). It can also be charged via solar panel at a max of 100W; the device uses a standard XT60 port so I don't think you'd *have to* use the Anker-specific panel (but it does fold up very nicely and pack away for easy trasport).
It also has a very clear display, providing power information about input and output activity, and built in lantern-style light that pops out of the top, and a companion app.
But I'm not 100% clear what the target audience is.
According to the website, it can power a cooler for over 5 hours, a projector for over 3, can recharge a camera 18 times, and power an air pump for over 4 hours. It can power LED strips, recharge portal speakers, handheld gaming consoles and phones a bunch of times, power fans, lamps and CPAP machines. And weirdly, if you're tailgating, it can run a coffee grinder for 1.1 hours. (I'm not judging the bougie tailgater who likes freshly ground a brewed coffee, in fact I support you…it just seems kind of niche.)
And 'niche' is how I can best classify the C300X. Sure, powering your CPAP machine while camping or inflating a tent or a flat tire in the outdoors is probably a good use case, but all those other things… grinding coffee at a tailgate, going on camping trips wherein you intend to make significant use of your laptop, etc., seems too specific.
Again, no judgment…maybe this is how it's supposed to be done and I'm missing out; who else wouldn't want to watch a full length feature film via projector while spending a night in nature?
None of that is to say it is without merit, however. As I said before, my obsession with power banks means this device is right at home with me, but specifically, in my home. It's not going to power any major appliances, but the built in lamp can run at it's lowest setting for over 100 hours on a full charge. If we did lose power for a few days, for whatever reason, this thing could definitely keep (at a minimum) my family's phones charged, which is key for emergency situations.
So, I kind of like it, but in that nerdy office-supply obsession kind of way. Not because I think I'm going to get a ton of use out of it, but because when I do need to use it, it's capabilities will give me just a little bit of 'peace of mind' at a time when it will be really nice to have.
And, the price is right, at least on a kWh capacity-per-dollar basis with the added benefit of a built in light, solar charging capability, while contained in a small enough package that it's not a burden to move around.
But for most people, I don't know…I'm not totally convinced. Because of my unstable power grid at home, I've been contemplating generators that can run small appliances, and another $150-$200 might make a difference in a device like that. Generally, I'd advise everyone to invest in some power banks and cheap LED lights just in case, and maybe this is a one-stop shop that does that. But like I said, I'm not convinced this is a good investment for everyone.
But if you do invest in it, when you need it, I'm sure you'll be glad you had it.

Solar Generator with flexible charging options

The Anker SOLIX C300X Solar Generator is a convenient portable power supply for anything that will charge from a USB or USB-C port. This provides a convenient power supply to keep all your electronics powered up in locations without electricity. This will come in very handy in the event of power outages and would be great for camping or anywhere outdoors where power is not readily available.
- In the box, you get the portable power station, a 60W solar panel, a solar charging cable, extension cable for the solar panel, and a 60cm 140W USB-C to USB-C charging cable.
- The power station is compact and weighs only 13.5 pounds. It has a carrying handle and also comes with a shoulder strap, making it very easy to transport anywhere.
- The power station will supply 90,000mAh and 300W of power and is able to charge up multiple devices at the same time.
- It also has a pop up light on top with three different brightness settings, providing extra convenience for outdoors.
- This power station can be recharged three different ways. You can charge it via either one or two USB-C 140W PD Two-Way Fast Charging Ports, via the included solar panel, or via a car socket. I used the USB-C charger from my laptop in one of the USB-C 140W fast charging ports and I charged the power station from 25% to 100% power, using approximately 63W from my charger in around 2.5 hours. You can actually charge via both USB-C fast charging ports at the same time for faster charging.
- There are a total of 7 charging ports for your devices. You can charge your devices from two standard USB-A 12W ports, or four USB-C ports, two of which are the 140W Two-Way Fast charging ports that can also be used for recharging the power station, plus one 100W port and one 15W port, and there is also one car socket. You can charge multiple devices all at the same time, allowing a lot of flexibility and the ability to keep your devices charged for the entire family.
- The power station has an LED screen to show you charging times, Watts of power in or out, whether you are connected via Bluetooth or Wifi to the Anker App, so you can see what is going on at any given time and how much power the power station has left.
- When connected to the Anker App, you can use the App to see the various power in and out settings, change the brightness of the screen and turn the screen on and off, power on the light and change the brightness, change how fast the LED screen turns off and the device timeout length, as well as update the firmware when needed. You can also pull up the user manual.
- It also comes with a 3-year power station Warranty.
Overall, this unit will work well for me and will keep me working from home during power outages. It will also allow my family to ensure our critical devices can keep power in the event of a power outage and the included solar panel will allow me to keep it recharged so I can use it on my devices in the event of a prolonged outage. I feel this will also come in handy to power speakers and other devices I may want to use outdoors, where I don't have access to power. The portability and flexible charging options make it very convenient.

The Anker Solix C300X Solar Generator is a great battery back up device that is super portable. I love the smaller for factor, compared to some of the other battery generators out there, and the 4 type-C ports is amazing. With everything being type-C these days it’s nice to have those extra ports. I own a couple of other battery generators and they literally have 1 type C port which isn’t enough.
Using the Anker app was a breeze to get everything set up. You get a load of information in the app like total input/output, port status, remaining charge time and more.
Solar charging worked as intended. It will take several hours to charge if the generator is completely drained but it is a great option if you are in a pinch.
My favorite thing about this battery generator is the size. It’s so easy to just pick up and throw in the truck or take it wherever I need it. I use it quite a bit, and when not in use, I usually set it on my desk and recharge everyday devices with it. Oh, the pop-up light is pretty cool too!
There are many battery generator options to choose from, of course. I own two different brands and I have to say the Anker Solix C300X is my favorite so far. If you are looking for a battery generator that is more portable, but very capable, you should definitely consider this one. Highly recommend!

Life saver during a power outtage

During a recent power outage, the Anker SOLIX C300X proved to be an invaluable asset. With its 288Wh capacity and 300W output, this portable power station ensured that our essential devices remained operational throughout the blackout. During the power outage we heavily used the lamp feature which had various brightness settings. The built-in lamp feature was more useful than I expected—it provided just the right amount of light to navigate the room without being harsh on the eyes, making it easier to stay calm and comfortable in the dark. The brighter the lamp, the shorter the battery life, and this is obvious but the C300X’s screen told us specifically how much time was left based on how much power we were using. So the time left dropped when we plugged in two iPhones, a tablet, and a laptop to it all at the same time!
I haven’t taken the C300X camping yet, however I did used the included solar panel to charge the C300X and see the utility for when I go to the beach, camping, or in any area where an outlet/power source is limited. Just make sure to clean the panels and angle the panels so that the sun is hitting them directly.
