Great out of the box, even as a standalone unit.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First let me say the Anker Solix F3800 was packaged very well with sturdy foam supports on the inside. The exterior of the box also had corner edge support that was banded. Unboxing was fairly straightforward ut it is delivered in the horizontal orientation. It does have some weight to it but is easy to manage with the installed wheels and casters. Upon arrival the unit had 83% charge and defaults to 1800W on the AC charger. Remember this if you have other high draw appliances on the same circuit. The unit charged very quickly. Connecting via the app was simple and once it was fully charged I applied a firmware update that took less than 5 minutes. I have not had the ability to try out the solar charging but I do have faith in Anker based on my past experiences.

Anker Solix 3800 - An Exceptional alternative
