Not the best sound but very hard to beat at this price.

But for the price of is very good. Just what I needed.

There is no reason to spend a fortune on something like this.

I like this speaker but the charge doesn't last that long. The original charger stopped working so I've had to use what I had around. I also have to charge for several hours before using it again. I like using it but I don't like the limited time of use.

The Anker speaker was easy to set-up, but the down side was it only lasted about eight months and the internal speakers blew out.

The speaker is heavy for its size. It is only a little louder than my iPhone speaker. For the price it’s not a bad deal.

Sound quality was was just ok volume was not loud expected more.

I was extremely disappointed after using it as the Bluetooth connection went in and out. Returned it to the store for store credit. Best Buy treated me very well.

The Sound to very good but battery life is less than half of the 24 hrs stated. I am disapointed, my old bluetooth speaker is still my goto.

When I noticed Best Buy was selling it online for a bargain price I thought what a deal. A month and half later it quit working and of course according to the Best Buy website you have to return an item within thirty days for exchange or refund. I'm glad I didn't pay full price for it. I will definitely not buy another one.

Anker doesn't disappoint with their products. This speaker gives off GREAT sound and is amazing for the price. I'm able to walk away with my phone to quite a distance, and it still stays connected without issue. It's a great size to pretty much bring anywhere, and the battery life is amazing! I'd recommend this to anybody looking for a great Bluetooth speaker at a very reasonable price!

I am happy to report that I am the proud owner of this little magic box. I had a 'cheap' shower speaker for about $10 that I had been unhappy with for quite some time. Anker, known for their batteries, has been diversifying their lineup over the years. The speakers they sell have never disappointed me. I actually have the little square box one, which I use to play mindfulness meditations at work for my patients. I also have the first generation sound core. This new waterproof blue sound core 2 does not disappoint. Big sound for a small price. The texture of the speaker is this silky smooth yet grippy silicone. I love the confidence of the speaker being water proof. I'm not going to scuba dive with it, or submerge it, but that extra layer of protection is confidence inspiring.

Overall, this is a great speaker considering it's small size and small price. Battery life is stellar as well. All of it's functions and usability are outstanding. Most of all, the sound that this little speaker produces is quite remarkable. Prepare to be surprised by this little gem.

For such a small speaker this thing sounds great! I received it last week and fired it up straight out of the box. I wanted to wait until I got a charge in before reviewing. Well a week later it finally started flashing low battery. Charge time was nice and quick and bang back to a nice clear audio. Bass is actually a little better than I’d expect from a small speaker. I’d compare it to my cylindrical speaker made by a competitor that was 199. If in the market don’t hesitate to pick one up.

6/19-just one day, I am happy with sound power and good sound. Surprised that is water-resistant. I wished it had a mute button, since I can be on a pool in a conference call and mute/unmute when I need to talk. The Bluetooth mode for pairing doesn't show red/blue blinking like any other device, so not obvious to put in pairing. I wish it had a way to put a land-yard to hang it...like in tree branch or to keep secure in case a drop.

Good things: Battery is superb Design is cool, i liked the color a lot !!! No issues with the electronics Not so good things: The Sound, you really need to use it at low to medium range, because it distorts if you push it over the middle level. I'm kind of disappointed because plenty of comparable models have very good highs and cool bass, (I was expecting something similar) but in this one the mids own all the output so it's not nice hearing that for a while, specially music that sounds quite flat. I guess that if you got it on sale is fine, just keep your expectations not so high.
