This works perfectly. I can keep my Anker power pack or charging cable connected during use. Side note - the white circle next to the powered USB-A port lights up when input power is supplied. Confirmation that I'm not draining my tablet. Samsung Tab S6 NESDR Smart / WD Passport. Anker Powercore 10000
