If you are wondering if this is worth it for a beginner, then the answer is yes. It's not Bambu, but it just works. Barely had any issues with this when I got it and I can count on one hand how many prints have failed on me. The app is beginner friendly and is a good replacement for the screen. This is definitely better than the M5.

Previous Printer didn't have bed leveling. If you’re in the market for a 3D printer that combines speed with ease of use, the AnkerMake M5C is a game-changer. This little machine is an absolute beast when it comes to fast printing, and the setup is a breeze, making it a great option whether you’re new to 3D printing or a seasoned pro. What I Loved: Blazing Fast Printing: Seriously, this thing prints super fast without sacrificing quality. It’s a dream come true when you need to crank out multiple prints in a short amount of time. Easy Setup: From the moment you open the box, you’re just a few simple steps away from your first print. The instructions are straightforward, and everything fits together perfectly. You’ll be up and running in no time. Great Print Quality: I’ve been using Hatchbox PLA in black, and the prints have been flawless. The details are sharp, and the surface is smooth – no complaints here. Excellent Bed Adhesion: The prints adhere to the bed perfectly every time, with no need for glue or any other adhesives. I simply clean the bed with alcohol between each print, and it works like a charm. What Could Be Better: Wi-Fi Connectivity: The Wi-Fi can be a bit temperamental. It works initially, but then it might disconnect and refuse to reconnect. Thankfully, it stays connected via Bluetooth to your phone, so you can still control and monitor your prints without too much hassle. Overall, the AnkerMake M5C is an awesome 3D printer that brings speed and simplicity to the table. Sure, the Wi-Fi might act up now and then, but the stellar print quality, excellent bed adhesion, and ease of use make up for it. If you’re looking for a printer that can keep up with your creative demands, this one’s definitely worth checking out!

Bought this after my Ender 3 Pro was giving too much trouble to repair. SUPER QUICK setup. Picked it up at 7:30 and had a benchy printed by 9. Very fast and was able to print decent quality minis as well with right slicer settings. You can use this offline in Bluetooth mode and also reads out entire USB-C drive stick on the App, so no problem if you have connectivity issues. Great first printer!

got this printer to help in printing models that my recent Bambu a1 mini could not handle and to have 2 printers going at the same time. Found out eve. With the Bambu studios anker settings was getting bad quality' prints but using anker make studio the prints were good quality have not tried orcas settings for both yet

Very good entry level 3d printer. Quick setup which led to being able to print within 5 minutes of setup. App made it easy. Able to print a lot of different filament types, though some require more work to get down. PLA prints perfectly, PETG requires a bit a of tweaking.

I did quite a bit of research before buying a 3d printer. It was between this and the Bambu Lab A1 Mini. I went with the AnkerMake because of the larger build volume and because of the dual-support gantry. The AnkerMake Studio software is pretty easy to use and has a lot of flexibility with importing STL files and setting up different materials. The learning curve of 3d printing seems to be lowered by the M5C

Advertised as take it out, put it together, plug it in, print. That is for sure what happened but lots of details and subtleties to be discovered annd increase your print quality. Excellent 3D Printer choice for beginners. Buyer Beware; after purchase, you’re now into 3D Printing. Good luck, Godspeed, Hf.

When it works it's great, but don't expect to get anything more than a year a couple days beyond the warranty with it actually working. Mine stopped staying connected to my network and when I reached out to Ankermake's customer service and got to the end of all the problem shooting after the printer being down about 2 months, they told me I got a defective device, but because it's out of warranty (by less than 3 weeks, I have support tickets for this issue that started 2 months before the warranty expired). Also, expect to spend lots of money on replacement hotends and print heads, I've gone through at least 4-5 hot ends and 1 new print head on this printer alone in less than 9 months. I would have given this 4-5 stars up to a couple months ago, I even bought a second one this past spring. Now I'm just waiting for it to die right outside of its warranty window next year. Don't buy an Ankermake, get a printer from a company that's been making them for a long time, not one that's still figuring out how to ship non-defective items.
