When it works it's great, but don't expect to get anything more than a year a couple days beyond the warranty with it actually working. Mine stopped staying connected to my network and when I reached out to Ankermake's customer service and got to the end of all the problem shooting after the printer being down about 2 months, they told me I got a defective device, but because it's out of warranty (by less than 3 weeks, I have support tickets for this issue that started 2 months before the warranty expired). Also, expect to spend lots of money on replacement hotends and print heads, I've gone through at least 4-5 hot ends and 1 new print head on this printer alone in less than 9 months. I would have given this 4-5 stars up to a couple months ago, I even bought a second one this past spring. Now I'm just waiting for it to die right outside of its warranty window next year. Don't buy an Ankermake, get a printer from a company that's been making them for a long time, not one that's still figuring out how to ship non-defective items.

Printer works well for beginners. I found that I’m printing things both for practical and impractical use and having a lot of fun. I would recommend also getting an enclosure.

Bough this for my teenage son. What a great product - I was impressed with the detail of some of the items he made. I was skeptical when he asked for one but definitely glad I got it...

Excellent product. Very beginner friendly and worth the price. Definitely take the time to read up on how to use it beforehand to make sure you are ready to enter the world of 3D printing. But overall very great printer!

It's decent and low cost, so this makes it an easy entry-level 3D printer, though, not without its flaws. The print quality leaves much to be desired as there'll be various strands of plastic strings just fraying from the finished product ½ the time, depending on how introcate your prints are. (Not talking extra detailed). I mean, if your print has angles, it's likely to be... bad

Device refuses to download any print files after only 3 prints. It was easy to set up and link to my account but after just 3 very small projects, it no longer will download any files and says "failed to download, try again". Reset my wifi multiple times, made sure it was connected to 2.4 ghz, checked the firmware, reset it multiple times, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, literally everything that was suggested when we contacted Anker. They claimed this was "odd and will notify an engineer" yet I looked up my same issue of it randomly failing to download prints and multiple people complaining about it. Shame because when it worked, it was great but it failed in less than 24 hours after purchase. Back to the store for a full refund. I cannot recommend this printer.

It has a lot of potential but it is hindered by several major flaws. It is not worth the headache at the MSRP of $300, not even the sale price of $200 that I bought mine for. The printer has a connectivity issue, via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, I receive countless errors when trying to send print jobs. It could possibly be a software issue or a hardware issue I am not sure. It made the printer unusable less than half of the time. I would spend more time troubleshooting, power cycling, restarting the app, etc. The software has several major drawbacks, a lot of missing features and broken features. Overall, it is not worth the headache. I returned mine and ordered a Bambu Labs printer.
