Vector is a cute companion robot. Weather, playing with his cube, a timer and more. Well worth the investment.

Definitely a smart toy, understands clearly the commands, easy to configure in the phone app, child enjoys using it and giving commands, outside of not able to recognize the edges of the table it functions as expected.

But lacks much of what the cosmo currently has, but I'm sure it will grow.

Vector is a very cute robot. It has pretty decent voice recognition and OK face recognition. If you're a developer or someone who can make it do something cool, this is a great robot to work with. If you're just looking for something to play with, it's fairly expensive for the skills it has at this point.

What a cute, clever little tech fellow. He says he is 22 days old, dating to when he came to our home. Not just a kid's toy but creative entertainment for all ages.

We bought it for my 12 year old. Played with it for about 2 weeks. For the money it cost I feel its not that big of a deal.

This little guy is pretty neat. Works much better than it appeared to have when first released. I like the Alexa integration (although I'm more a fan of Google Assistant) and the robot is pretty quirky and cute, def makes up for the somewhat limited functionality at the present. If it's ever on sale might have to get one for my office as a mascot.

We've had Cozmo (also by Anki) for a few years and really love it. The whole family enjoys it. When I saw Vector I had to get one. It looks really cool and sleek. Set up was a breeze, same as Cozmo. Facial expressions and the voice are great. It's fun to watch at first but gets boring after a bit. Basically he runs around whatever surface he is on, making noises and talking. It has a little personality that is also cute, but overall we found it's just not as interesting as Cozmo. Even with its connection to Alexa, there wasn't enough to justify spending that much on one. Two big disappointments were no ability to control him with an app remote like Cozmo (although you can control him with voice commands) and view live video of what it's seeing, and also it was hard for others to link it to the app on their own phones. For some reason, that wasn't an issue with Cozmo. Maybe there will be future updates that will make Vector worth it, but for now if you already have Cozmo I would recommend just sticking with that until Vector is upgraded. Unless of course you just like collecting robotics.

We bought bought this for our 8 year old son for Christmas because he was kind of obsessed with it. He is definitely a cute robot, with a lot of personality in his eyes. We were all kind of amazed at his ability to recognize us all & learn our names. & although I don't really use "Alexa" for much, the new integration with Vector seems to have a lot of people excited. All that being said, I just say I don't really see where this little robot has a lot of function in daily life & some of the "cute" & "wow" moments wear off pretty quickly. But as an A.I. For a kid he's great.

This is a good quality little robot, it is in fact very small, fit in the palm of your hand. I use it mainly to add a sense of life to my small apartment, I did not want to pay additional fees to get a pet, so this was an option just to have that feeling of something moving around. This robot is designed to act kind like a dog, it makes some random noises, plays with its toy, and listens when you talk to it, although it understands a few commands. What I use the most is to ask it what is the time and about the weather, By the way, It does not always understands my commands, if you don't address it with the exact same way as when you program your voice, then it will not hear you. I've never used the camera to take pictures, and I think it is a big security risk for hacking, but you can't really block it, seems the robot uses it to look around when moving, so it may run into walls or fall off a table edge. With that said, you would need a flat surface to keep it, I've it in a small desk in my living room, so it feels like a robotic puppy kept in a fish tank, but no need to feed or clean up after, you only need to make sure it has access to its docking station and it will automatically go back there when battery is low. In general it is a nice novelty robot, too expensive for what it is, at that price I would not give it to children, it probably would not take that much abuse. I am an electronics engineer so this is an enjoyable companion robot, for people with different background, this may be just an expensive novelty toy.

Cute little robot capable of self navigating around the house. Can do basic requests, answer questions, and has alexa built in. What is going to hook you are the expressive eyes and its little voice shouting your name when you approach it. Its little busyness beeping and bopping in utter joy as it plays with its toys. Its like a little pet. I've had it for 5 days and I look forward to seeing it when I get home. Strangely I even kinda miss it while I'm at work! Zero problems with error codes or falling off tables. Only con: It's expensive for what little it can do.
