Words cannot accurately describe this film. It’s so hard. It’s a painful film. An allegory for depression, and all that come along with that. It’s visceral, in tone and visually. It’s beautiful; delicate at times in scenery, but also macabre. The unknown is not evil, it’s just existing, and just so happens to be affecting those who come in contact with it. Please see this film. It’s fantastic.

The script for this movie is not conventional. It's one of those movies that sits with you for 2 days after watching it. It's a cerebral film and doesn't really fit the mold of a horror movie, though it is quite disturbing. This film takes the uncanny valley to a new dimension and it's riveting. Absolutely worth owning but it might not be for everyone.

Overall, I enjoyed the film. The visuals are stunning and brilliant on 4K systems. The plot is a bit slow and a bit reminiscent of of Arrival though. Portman is good and moves the story forward well enough.

I started watching this with no idea of what it was about. It was a good, original story and well acted. I'll have to watch it again to catch the small details I missed the first time.

Alex Garland's follow up to Ex Machina is every bit as good, maybe even a little bit better than his directorial debut. The tension is extremely unnerving throughout and the cast is uniformly terrific, especially Natalie Portman who gives one of the best performances she's given since Black Swan.

Overall a good movie. But the ending was very predictable. Not quite enough to ruin the movie, but I just wish that sometimes moves would not go for a "Twist" that can be seen a mile away.

Nice thought provoking Science Fiction movie. Nice HDR with bright specular highlights and good Dolby Atmos ambience.

Don't miss this great film! What genre? It is a combination of science fiction, psychological drama and exciting thriller. Visually stunning, especially on blu-ray, and with some great performances. It may not be for everyone because of the mix of genres, but I highly enjoyed and recommend it!

Its one of those movies that are really sci fi and out there movies. The ending gets really confusing so a second watch might be necessary. If you like sci fi, then its for you.

A must watch of youre a fan of the book or the film maker. This isnt anywhere near as good as EX Machina, but it doesnt mean this is a bad flick, its still pretty excellent

The concepts presented in the movie were thought provoking and prone to discussion. It's worth seeing again since you will pick up certain things you missed on first viewing. Aesthetically, the color and visuals were refreshing since they are not usually found in many sci-fi movies.

I bought this in 4K because I thought it would be the type of movie that 4K was made for. I think it was but the story and the ending didn't seem that strong to me.

This video stimulates the imagination and holds your interest during the entire duration of the movie. Fast paced and great scenes of immense imagination and interest.

It’s dark and brooding, at times a bit hard to watch, but it is an incentive sci fi film with an engaging message, good performances and a strong mysterious hook.

I'm not exactly sure what I was expecting going into this movie, but it was all quite unexpected. Beautiful at times, strange at times, this movie was a trip.

I bought this on a whim. And was I surprised! It's one of the BEST movies I own! I was enthralled from beginning to end! Great Sci-Fi Movie! Awesome, in fact! A must see and Buy for your collection! 5 Star Production!!! Great Actors and Characters!

after my first screening of this film I felt it was engaging but not a multiple play title... the more I thought about it later, the more it has a deeper impact. It is a serious and thoughtful effort that will reward you with repeat viewing... it is a keeper!

I think this is a very under rated movie. It was very thought provoking and made you think about what you saw instead of just mindless action.

Very good and gripping story and special effects but the ending leaves a little to be desired. I prefer ex machina by the same director
