I haven't had an issue using other brand vacuum bags either. It does its job well, and I'm excited to use it more.

This vacuum sealer performs very well. Great suction and a good deal. I will be using this for just more that preparing meals for the cooker. Works just as good if not better than my $220 foodsaver.
