Works great. Tired of getting food out of freezer with freezer burn. This will be my savings on freezer items without throwing it in trash!! Love it!

Works well and easy to use. Small and lightweight, easy to store. I use primarily for sous vide cooking and storing food for longer term storage.

My desire to start more sous vide cooking led me down the path to this sealer. I specifically went with this Anova brand sealer because I wanted a proven name, despite the fact there are other cheaper options out there. Let's just say a lot has changed in reliability and quality of modern sealers (I've had bad experiences many, many years ago on older vacuum sealers). This sealer will do either rolls or bags, up to 12" wide by any length you desire. I have successfully used Anova/GreatValue/FoodSaver brand bags/rolls with this sealer. There is an automatic vacuum+seal button, a vacuum only button, and a seal only button. I almost always manually vacuum and manually seal, because you have more control to get out air pockets and not crush the food. The only negative thing I can say about this unit are the hinges on the lid...they leave a lot to be desired in confidence and it feels on the cusp of breaking every use when you push down to lock/unlock the lid, but so far so good. Vacuum power has been more than adequate and the sealer has been reliable. When using the vacuum rolls, I always double seal the ends for security. Insert the bag all the way, then pull it out about a 1/4" and seal.

Works great, will pay for itself in no time...now I need the sous vide tool.

We like this. Truth is vacuum sealing is just fun. We love that we can buy chicken, cut it up in portions and lay them flat and put them in freezer. Especially love adding a marinade and freezing, it really makes a world of difference. This is small, easy and simple to use, has a manual vacuum button which i like. there are literally no instructions and it isn't clear if its better to place the bag under the marks or over them, but it almost always works great. sometimes i think it could suck more air out...so i gave it 4 stars. With liquid, it gets MOST but still see some bubbles. you will need the extra rolls.

This is the perfect product to fit our needs. The vacuum seal is true and the sealer takes up very little space. Very convenient.

GREAT FOR SEALING UP MEAT AND PUTTING IN THE FREEZER

Buy the vacuum sealer around Christmas to take home cooked meals with me on the road. With vacuuming them, they last up to ten days, saving me a lot of money on food.

Very happy with this vacuum sealer. I purchased the bags to go with it. It’s quick and easy to use. Used it for vegetables and meat to freeze. Shipping was quick. Would recommend as a starter sealer.

This product is real good for saving food and creating space in your freezer. Very easy to use to keep frozen food fresh.

We dont have another vacuum sealing product to compare it to because this is the first one we have purchased but we are SO impressed. We went out and bought a lot of meats and vacuumed sealed them all and have not been disappointed! It works so well and we have noticed such a big difference in our frozen meats!
