    Did the job (vacuum sealing my venison) for cheap. The manual seal works just fine for a wet seal.

    This thing is a great value for the price. I have vacuum sealed blanched potatoes and broccoli, frozen raspberries, blueberries, pineapple, and strawberries, and meats. Only occasionally does it struggle when there is a lot of air between the product in the bag. I use food saver bags with this product and really like it.

    I use this for other purposes... but I bet it would work great for food and cooking the style it’s meant for. We are going to try the boil method soon. Well made, works good to seal items to preserve. For spices that have a strong smell, we bag it twice! Did not think it would make a difference. Maybe it does not, but heck.. it’s only a second bag! Trial and error. Try some preserving of foods before you have to! Don’t do it last second and get upset!

    This item allows me to preserve, meats and leftovers in a vacuum seal. It keeps the freshness in the food, and have prevented freezer burns. I put dates on the packages to keep track of when it was sealed.

    Works as advertised. Small and compact. Perfect for leaving on the counter for full time use. I did notice for when vacuum sealing a bag, you need to hit the seal button after it vacuums to secure a tight seal.

    Love this item! I buy meat in bulk and am able to easily repackage it. No frostbite! I also use it to package sugar cookies I make in advance for holidays. Very user friendly! Highly recommend.

    Bought this when my Food Saver went out as I was looking for a less expensive alternative. Glad I tried this as it works great. Takes some getting used to but works just fine.
