I had to get myself a new vacuum sealer recently for things that I was preserving and putting away. I liked the price and the features of this unit and it has been very simple to use. It seals and vacuum seals with equal ease and it is perfect for my normal home use.

The Anova - Precision Vacuum Sealer Pro seals the deal. It's light and portable but gets the job done. Has a compartment for power cord storage. Has a built in storage bag roll holder and cut to size with the zip cutter. Note you have to actually lock it down for it to power on after being plugged in. I thought I got a defective unit at first lol. It takes ~18 secs to seal the bottom of the bag, then you pull it out and cut to size. Load your ingredients (but don't overstuff). Place the opening in the tray and select vac and seal. It takes ~30 secs. Before vacuum sealing depending on what you have choose, dry or moist selection. Moist is mainly used with marinated food items. The Anova - Precision Vacuum Sealer Pro is really well thought out with features and functions. It was actually kind of fun to vaccum seal food. It does what it does very well.

This vacuum food sealer - Anova Precision is fantastic. I LOVE that you can select for moist or dry food AND it creates a double seal. It's so fast and quiet and always produces a good seal. Previously I had a Weston and it was so slow and noisy and I never knew if it was going to work or make me unplug it and start over. I'm so happy to have this sealer now!

1/30/2021: Love this so far. I have an Anova sous vide machine so I was already familiar with their products, and the Precision Vacuum Sealer Pro hasn't disappointed. Very user friendly and have had no issues sealing things. If I had to be critical of one thing, it would be the shiny finish on the lever/handle on the front edge of the machine... it's a magnet for fingerprints and smudges from your hands, but that is the only thing I dislike.

This Vacuum sealer is exactly what I hoped it would be. I used to have a handheld Vacuum sealer for various items I would prepare but this is so much more convenient and easy to use. It has a nice handle to grab and go from shelves and easily stores in any standard sized cabinet thanks to its low profile design (~15"x7"x4"). From a performance standpoint It seals up the packages much tighter and quicker than my old unit too. It also takes into consideration what type of food you are sealing such as dry or wet foods. I would recommend this sealer for anyone who likes to buy in bulk and separate out meat, or is an avid sous vide fan like myself.

it is a very nice product. We always bought the Foodsaver brand but they kept getting more expensive and breaking. this one was a good price and smaller so much easier to install. I also have other Anova products that I like very much.

This Vaccum sealer is absolutely amazing. I use it almost weekly and still working after 6 months. It was a bit difficult for me to understand how to first use it, so be sue to read the instructions before using!

Sous Vide is a great way to cook. I tried using ziplock bags and that worked ok, but the vacuum sealer is far better.

This vacuum sealer is easy to use and works really well. I haven’t had any problems sealing dry or wet food. I think it’s a great product for the price.

We love this sealer….once we got the hang of getting air totally out….practice makes perfect! My husband uses it all the time and no complaints about set up or clean up!

So far so good! Took a second to get the hang of how to do the thing but it’s doing what it’s meant to. Only complaint is a bit loud, but, hey, who is vacuum sealing sous vide bags at all hours of the night? Haha plus, love the convenience of storing the roll right in the machine. Cleverly thought out

Fantastic unit until it stopped working, BUT then fantastic warranty service! This unit has a 2 year warranty. After about 15 months of occasional use, it stopped sealing the bag at the end of the vacuum cycle. I contacted Anova, and after providing them with my Best Buy receipt and a photo of the serial number on the unit, they are shipping me a replacement unit. Very nice to work with. When the unit was working properly, it did a fantastic job of vacuum sealing cheese, smoked trout, and even smoked bbq ribs. I am hoping the replacement unit works as well as the first one. I do recommend the unit

this item works great. Best way to keep food from getting freezer burn. So easy to use.

I love this device saving me money protecting our food to last longer, the machine has a double seal for your bag that is a plus easy to use

Very happy with this sealer. The double seal worked great. Used it for my first time last night, and sealed small filets. I cut the bag in half and sealed three sides of the bag which worked perfectly in the sous vide.

Great vacuum sealer! Have had this for almost 2 years now and use it with their sous vide machine. Have not had any errors!
