This sous vide is amazing!!! It cooks steaks and chicken to perfection! Never burn or overcook again.

We made prime rib with this and it was very easy and we were able to watch the time remaining on the app. The prime rib came out perfectly.

Bought for my wife (she it the cook in the house) and she absolutely loves it. High quality and cooks some of the best beef and chicken.

I didnt really believe the steak could be better than on the grill, but it is. Really easy set up. Even easier to use with the app. I'll be using this kitchen tool a lot.

The cooker itself works great. It heats the water much faster than earlier models and the temperature is steady. The major problem with the device is the wi-fi connectivity, which can cause major headaches. Out of the box it works fine using the touchscreen controls, and I only used it that way for the first few weeks. I made the mistake of trying to connect the cooker with the software for wi-fi use, and ever since then I've had major problems. Once I finally managed to connect the cooker with the software, the software requires you to update the firmware to address previous wi-fi problems. Ever since I updated the firmware (v3.0.2), however, the start/stop button on the touchscreen only works intermittently. Now, I have to either unplug the cooker or use the software to stop cooking much of the time. Support forums indicate this is a common problem, and Anova customer support is difficult to get ahold of. I discovered the problem just outside of BestBuy's return window, so now I'm stuck with trying to resolve this directly with Anova. It's very disappointing coming from the first generation cooker, which has had no problems over the 6 years I have used it.

Heats up quickly, maintains an even temperature and things come out great.

Great item to use and sous vide with! it heats up the water in no time. I bought this on sale to replace a first Gen model I had.

The pro model is worth the extra money. It achieves temperature quickly in a large water bath, and reliably holds it.

This is the second cooker that I purchased. the Pro give me more options than the previous model.With just a look at the device I can see the temperature in celisius, Fahrenheit as well water level

LOVE this! I'm new to Sous Vide and the first night I made rib eye steaks....and they were the best I've ever had! The Precision Pro heated my giant 15 gallon container (I did 10lbs of rib eye) and cooked the steaks beautifully. I highly recommend this over the precision if your can afford it and if you'll be cooking for a large family.
