I originally had a small “as seen on TV” antenna. It only picked up 6 channels and didn’t have all the network channels. I read the reviews and settled on the clear stream. I live in a upper condo unit and had limited area to mount the antenna but after some trial and error found a sweet spot and pick up 47 channels. If weather is bad the picture will go out on some channels but overall a good product.

We purchased this ClearStream 2MAX antenna after we exchanged a flimsy but $$$ "flat" TERK window antenna (not good) two days before. We researched this ClearStream antenna online, and it has received MANY very positive reviews. We connected and tested this antenna inside the house first, and it worked much better than the TERK. Then we permanently installed it outside up on a roof eave (very simple job; very clear instructions and all necessary hardware (good-quality) are provided in the box), and it works even better. It feels sturdy, works very well, and is priced much better for value than the flat TERK, etc., antennas. I highly recommend this antenna. NOTE: This ClearStream 2MAX antenna does NOT come supplied with a coaxial cable. One must supply a good (RG6, not RG59) coax cable separately, depending on the length required from antenna to TV. Detachable is a better system, and one can choose a cable based on specific needs (color, indoor or outdoor use, length of run, gauge, budget).

Antenna is very simple to assemble and install. I had to mount it high outside and very accurately align it to broadcast tower. Using a 1x4 splitter and a amplifier at each TV, I am able to get good consistent reception on all the major local network channels. FOX ABC NBC CBS and PBS. The amplifier is necessary to get all the channels. Otherwise pretty inconsistent.

This antenna has exceeded my expectations. It was easy to install and it provides us with many more free channels than we had before the installation.

Installed this to replace a 1990 vintage unidirectional antenna and rotor that was damaged in a windstorm. This antenna picks up about 45-50 UHF and VHF stations from up to 40 miles northwest and southeast very well without the need for a rotor. It is very small, light and easy to mount on my existing chimney mast from the old antenna. I'm very pleased with this antenna. I would advise checking locations of broadcast towers in your area using one of the online resources to determine distances & directions to confirm they're within range of this antenna.

When I hooked this up right next to my TV, I received stations that we never get, but once I ran the coaxial to the antenna and situated it outside, I lost those stations. It was about a 30ft. run. I bought an antenna amplifier/ splitter because I have 4 runs to other tv's. This amplifier for about $12 did the trick and I got those channels back. Getting about 28 stations.

I live approximately 38 miles from the nearest stations. I am in a low lying area completely surrounded by 40-60 foot trees 200 yards in any direction. I can pickup 20+ stations. My only criticism is it is top-heavy. It must be secured so it will not fall. So the setup was a 2 person job - 1 for channel selection; and 1 for direction movement towards the desired towers.

This antenna might look big but this is the first antenna that I’m able to watch all the channels without breaking up I love it . Finally I am able to watch these channels that I was not able to watch with a flat antenna 2,5,7,9 I was able to put in in a place that you cannot see it so I love it it works great

I cut cable off and needed a good antenna we tried quite a bit and wasn't really having any luck so we went to best buy I saw this one here and bought one the only thing I don't like is that they do not come with a coaxial cable which you need to connect to the tv? So now I get all my local channels so now I have a total of 3 antennas! And I am happy with the results!

I was unsure how this would work out especially installing outdoors. Installation was easy; actually mounted to old existing direct tv bracket though comes with one, and can be placed indoors if choose too. Positioning wasn't an issue. This unit works fine with 60 mile radius. Picked up 29 channels with quality picture to every channel; was only concerned about the 4 major networks (fox, cbs, ABC, NBC). This unit was more than adequate for my needs; even if you have cable I would recommend installing for locals when your sat provider drops signals from storms. Good Buy!

It took me awhile to find a good position but once I did I received all channels full strength except for one that was I really did not expect to get. I went to the companies website at https://www.antennasdirect.com/transmitter-locator.html and put in my location to get an idea of where the transmitters are. I use a Tablo for recording shows and once I got it in the right position it

I've been using this for almost a year and a half and the reception for local stations is very good. It is important to use the listed website to locate the towers for the stations you are interested in. I live in an area where almost all the stations are in the same direction. It is also important to get it as high and avoid line-of-sight obstructions.
