Having recently "cut the cable" I was disappointed in performance of a smaller cheaper indoor antenna despite the fact that I only live three miles (as crow flies) from most of the important towers in my area. I was afraid I might need to install this unit on my roof, but am please with results with results using this antenna indoors near my TV (which is in the basement.)

I purchased this as a backup during power outages and get 27 channels. Works 2x better mounted outside and up high. Does what I need it to do

Rep at the store claimed this one is a very powerful antenna, so far it definitely has better reception of my local channels even when stormy weather or heavy rain (other antennas weren't good during these times). The only thing is that I still can't get the local signal for the CBS affiliate. I haven't plugged it into the house system although the instructions suggest I can plug it in to the house main trunk and the signal will travel via coax to any TV connected in the house. We shall see.

I purchased this antenna because I was moving to Boston and into a 510 square foot studio apartment. The rent is almost $3,000 a month and the cable/internet package just wasn’t in the budget. My godparents recommended an antenna. I get multiple stations with this antenna — more than I expected actually. If you aren’t a huge TV person and you enjoy the basics (news stations like fox, cbs, nbc, etc) then this is a great option. Only disadvantage is that it needs to be close to a window in order to receive all the stations.

I've tried several indoor antennas with no luck... I live 50-70 miles from the nearest broadcasters, and sitting in my living room at waist level, this little beauty piked up 5 with no lag or static... works great with HDHomeRun also!

Easy setup. Good instructions. Has a long range for receiving signals.

We got this to replace a $10 antenna after we cut the cable. That one worked okay, but this is world's better - worth the price difference. The picture is clearer and reception is much less touchy or susceptible to weather.

I have tried a lot of different ones, but couldn't get the range I wanted and plane flying over all time. Geat range and signal.

Easy antenna to use. I hung it in the attic. Pointed it towards the local stations, 50 miles away. Hooked into the cable wires already run through out the house. Now get over 40 local channels free

We have old cable heat in the ceiling that is no longer used but wires can’t be removed. I tried 6 or 7 different antennas (from the paper flat to amplified rabbit ears) but none worked. I was told the cable heat was the issue. We can’t have an out door antenna in this subdivision. This antenna I was able to hang behind our tv and works really well most of the time. It was worth the money in my opinion for our situation. I get many more stations consistently that we were not able to get before.

I have cut satellite off and use this to get all of my local channels. Rarely do I have to move it to get the signal back. Have not tried to mount it outside yet. Considering buying another for my other TV.

The antenna is big but it works well as an antenna. And works well in our living room with our furniture. We have sitting near the window on an end table behind a lamp. Happy we chose this one.

This is a good quality HDTV Outdoor Antenna at a reasonable cost. Easy to mount. Put on roof and it doubled the number of channels we were able to receive clearly vs. the smaller antenna we had inside.

Am 35 miles from downtown Atlanta, and this antenna picks up 42 channels, including the big 4. East to set up, therefore, am almost ready to cut the $100+/month cable/satellite TV cost and go solo!

This model worked better than the indoor ultra thin model by Terk. I tried it indoors and worked good. Mounted it outside under eves and works better on most channels. One channel will pixelate occasionally, usually around Noon. Antenna is located approx 33 miles from the Sutro Tower (San Francisco). I don't think it has the range for 60 miles in typical residential locations with trees and hills. Allowed me to save $100 per month from cable!

An odd looking antenna that works great indoors! Setup was easy. Comes with a stand. Works best if you turn the antenna in the direction of the tv station. Locations of stations can be found on the web easily.

We bought this antenna at a Best Buy in Saginaw for our daughter to use at her new house in Midland, MI. After installing it indoors, she got about 22 stations, but only one broadcast network station. My husband then took it outside and mounted it on a post that had previously held a satellite dish, and it works great. She now gets all the network stations and many more channels. Only gave it 4 stars since it didn't work indoors very well for her location.

I was able catch the local broadcast stations. Without it, I only caught some stations. Sometimes when it’s windy or rainy, some channels get scrambled. Other than that it’s an excellent way to “cut cable” and watch TV for free.

The Clear Stream antenna was very easy to install with excellent instructions. All necessary hardware was included with the antenna. I could not ask for better reception of my local stations.
