I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this OTA antenna for our new house. I had tried using the flat amplified antenna's and they did sort of work, but resulted in choppy video and drop outs. I mounted this antenna on the side of our house, 30 feet up, facing due north. From my address there are two primary broadcast areas, one about 30 degrees west of north, and another location 25 degrees east of north. Although I could have selected either and gotten a perfect signal I opted for the middle so I could receive more channels. My reception is crystal clear and perfect from all but one channel, but for us this is minor and not worth complaining about. We are very happy with how this antenna works and would recommend it to friends.

This antenna may cost more than others, but if you are in the mountains, cheap isn't going to get you anything. I use this antenna indoors and for most stations, it just sits on the floor leaning against an outside wall. We bought it specifically so my husband could watch football from our vacation cabin, but alas, FOX doesn't come in from the floor, so we hang it from the curtain rod facing out the sliding glass door. The extra 6' of elevation brings the channel in with no problems. We may eventually mount it higher in the house (2nd floor or attic), but that will require running cable, and can wait.

I'm on a fringe for one of our local stations and no other antenna I tried could consistently pull that station in. This one does. Sharp, clear, steady. It was easy to assemble and get mounted. Set up was quick (about 5 minutes) once installed. Gets all local stations and my fringe station without having to use a rotor to move the antenna. Mine is attic mounted and it works great. This is an item I would recommend if you are trying to get fringe stations.

Doesn't work the best in Claremore but we do get a few more channels.

Living south of Indy we can pick up 36 channels on this antenna! Then we run cromecast with Netflix and cut our bill on that television to nothin on the month!

This antenna is a very high quality model that can be used both indoors and out. I am about 55-60 miles from major tv towers and I pulled in at least 15 channels clearly. Extremely happy with this product.

THIS WAS MUCH TO BIG FOR MY PLACE BUT IT DID PICK UP A LOT OF STATIONS.

Seems to get great reception. This antenna is used on a metal building where before there was little to no reception

Installed this in place of my Direct TV antenatal that is on the roof so it was able to handle 3 TVs on one antenna. Works like a charm, no complaints

I am very pleased with the reception of this antenna. Have had smaller cheaper antennas in the past. Wish I had purchased this one in the beginning.

it was easy to set up I bought it open box had no instructions called the company they were helpful.

Works great with minimal effort. Easy to put together. Range is outstanding...often gets channels outside the range that the FCC indicates that you should be able to get for your location. Works well in bad weather. Range is better outside, but also works great indoors as well.

i have this in my attic and run it to my 2 guest bedrooms. it gets all the local channels - abc, cbs, nbc, fox, pbs, a sports channel, country music station and then the alternate broadcast for each of the stations above, ie - bounce, cw, mytv. my parents have several of these in a different city. their reception is fine during good and bad weather. mine was a little spotty the other night when there appeared to be cloudy and windy. wold have been disappointed but knowing my parents outcome is different, perhaps it's a location placement for me. i have this coupled with a tivo premiere for my dvr service. most of the shows and sports i watch are on local broadcast anyways. saving me about $80/month for cable/satellite

Originally bought this antenna to put on the roof of my condo building because the previous indoor Mohu antenna only received a couple channels, but when the HOA denied my request, I mounted it on my balcony and to my surprise, I received EVERY local broadcast channel in crystal clear HD...FREE! I'm cancelling my Cox cable and just going to stream movies and such from the internet, getting my local HD channels free with this antenna! AWESOME!!

I have gone from being able to get 3 - 4 tv stations with lots of static, to now being able to get more than 20, with excellent pictures and sound.

Storm blew away my old antennae. This one gets a better picture.

We got this for our RV and it worked good. We ended up rewiring the RV and now the installed antenna works great.

I have tried a lot of different antennas for watching OTA TV. This antenna beat all the others I tried for using indoors at ground level. You have to experiment with the location quite a bit to find the spot that pulls in the most channels, but after that you're good! Uniquely, this antenna has a fairly wide beam AND high gain. Both of those are important for us cheapskates who like free TV to pull in as much of it as possible, and just complementing it with Netflix and Amazon video. (Wide beam makes it possible to pull in stations that are in somewhat different directions without adjusting the antenna.) Tops!

I purchased this antenna after reading the reviews. I was planning to drop my cable subscription and wanted to try the antenna first. I hooked it up with no problems, scanned my tv and got 25 channels without adjusting it. I actually got 4 sub channels that I was not getting with cable. We are really enjoying this antenna and are saving about $75 a month.
