I loved this antenna for the ease of setup and the great quality of the signal. The listing says 50 miles plus for signal range, but that is for UHF only. The VHS part, the two antenna coming off the sides, is only 35 miles. That is the only reason i gave the reception rating 4 out 5. I am 45 miles between two markets here in Wisconsin and only ONE channel is VHF. So I went with the Antennas Direct Clearstream 5 for VHF and the Antennas Direct DB4e for UHF. Using my Pre-Amp, I combined the two antenna leads outside and feed one RG6 Quad Shielded cable into my house, about a 60ft run to a 3 way splitter.

If you live between cities get a rotor and a straight mount instead of the angled one included in the kit. The antenna looks great, is small and really works. I bought several antennas and then priced this one from antennas direct . com and took the price to best buy and they matched it. Good deal because they had it in stock. It is the best I have ever seen and I dont need cable or directv. I can now get over 50 HD channels FREE.

Tried three other brands/models and this is definitely the best one. Didn't want to put up an arial and this unit pulls in all the stations that I can receive.

Face it everyone in America has at least one TV in their home and for some people it is their main, if not only, connection with the outside world. My mother is just one such person. She has had a small portable color TV for years and refuses to get cable because it is too expensive for "all that trash". So... for Christmas, I got her a very nice 48" TV right here at Best Buy but when we tried to use her existing "rabbit ear" antenna it just didn't work. Luckily Best Buy was just a few minutes away so I found a moderately priced antenna and mounted it in Mom's attic. The results were amazing!! Not only does she have awesome reception she is now picking up channels she didn't even know existed. Inexpensive antenna made me look like a techno-hero! BIG WIN!

I connected the antenna to my PC's TV Tuner. I keep it indoors, but I get about 50 channels. The antenna is directional, but I don't have to rotate it when I switch to a channel that coming in from a different angle. A single position receives everything. The HD channels are crystal clear with no interference.

has had it at my other house installed it outside on the side of house about 15 feet high. that house in the Inland Empire was about 40 miles away from all the Los Angeles stations and picked up most main channels. now moved to a different area in Orange County but still about 40-50 miles away and have it installed in attic, pointing it to the Northeast direction. this time, it picks up all the prime time channels available plus others. very satisfied with its performance. had tried it just putting it near the TV on the first floor but had very poor reception. this antenna needs to be on higher grounds.

Mounted it in a basement window, and it picks up every St louis area station.

Received clear local HD channels. Got 21 channels in woods area! I installed it on my night light pole that's the closest to my house. Used splitter to have two TVs on. No complaints but takes a little time to move antenna side to side until find most channels and most important thing is clear channels!

Setup is straightforward. Reception is great and I am at least 30 miles from the transmitters. My only concern is how it would hold up to a bad hail storm. The metal is lower gauge than I would expect. It isn't flimsy, but it is lightweight. Excellent product though.

I purchased this antenna to receive free TV broadcasts and stop paying ridiculous satellite TV fees. I was a bit worried about what kind of picture I would get, but after easily installing it, I was very impressed by the quality of the reception and its consistency. It is very compact and easy to install.

This is a good digital antenna. It works where the cheaper models will not.
