    Awesome Little Antenna

I heard about this antenna (actually it's bigger brother) from a friend who lives closer to the city than I do. After looking around at many other products, I decided on this ClearStream 2V Antenna. Technically I don't need the VHF antenna since all the STL stations broadcast UHF, but the price couldn't be beat, plus the option to return if things didn't work was good to. Overall a GREAT antenna with such a little footprint, good reception and EASY to install with the included mounting pole and hardware.

I moved to an area where my rabbit ears don't work well. I mounted this in my attic and aimed it towards the tv towers. I ran a coaxial cable from it to a splinter and cable to all the rooms in the house. I have clear signals in all the rooms It picks up all the local stations without a problem.

I was having problems with one station in my area. It was Fox 2 Detroit. I did some investigating and found out that Fox 2 in Detroit was a VHF Digital station. This explains why every leaf antenna worked so well in my house, except for FOX 2. Once I purchased this antenna and placed it in the rafters in my basement, all the channels in my area came in crystal clear. As a matter of fact. They are clearer than the compressed cable I have been paying for years. Cut the cable and come of to the clear side.

Our son in college tried all kinds of indoor antenna's to be able to get TV in his apartment at college none worked. We bought him this one and he now has TV. We picked it up on sale so was not to pricey and compared to a cable bill every month it is way cheaper. He is very happy with it.

Tried this as a indoor unit - Was told by the tech at Antennas Direct that it did not work well if you have a brick and stuco home , Best to use it as a roof mounted unit or in an attic Best I could get was 50% signal strength , mounted in attic. Good clear picture. No pixilation or cutting out like you would get with rabbit ears. Works better than any indoor rabbit ear antenna that I have tried in the past Used in Tampa FL.

This is a great HD Antenna. I had a smaller ClearStream Micron Indoor before and could not get 7(WSPA) Greenville or 13(WLOS) in Asheville 50+ miles away; both of which I can now get. The only down side was having to take the time to install it outside and run the cable and putting in a wall outlet, and note the highest video quality with this or any antenna is 1080i as far as I konw. Also I was able to mount it on the back side of my chimney and it since it's smaller you don/t even see it from the front of the house. The outcome was well worth it though with 28+ local channels and getting rid of my satellite dish bill. The best part is, I got this free when I bought a TIVO box as part of a Best Buy combo special.

I returned two other expensive antennas up other stores that didn't work well for me before I finally purchased this one. The cost made me hesitate. Best money I ever spent. I get over 45 channels with it. I don't need to move it to pull in any channels. It pulled in perfect signal instantly while being mounted in same place as antennas I returned. If you want an excellent hassle free antenna buy one of these. Weather doesn't effect my tv anymore.

This antenna can receive most stations within 35 miles. Fortunately I live on one side of all the broadcast towers, so there is no need to change direction when I change channels. There are a few stations with spotty reception even on clear days. And even the strongest have trouble depending on the weather. But it never completely looses signal like cable or satellite did in thunderstorms.

I bought this for my grandparents to use at their business (because the local cable providers won't set up for less than an arm, leg, and a kidney per month). Their previous antenna gave them spotty reception and did NOT let them get two very local channels. This one gives them those channels and many, many more than they had, they don't have the same static issues when it is storming outside, and installation was a breeze.

I have tried several over-the-air antennas looking for one that works well for both VHF and UHF HDTV channels. It seems most antennas get one set or the other, but not both. This antenna, however, gets both sets of channels and does a very good job at it. Most towers I pull a signal from are 25 miles away. However, I do get channels from 50-60 miles away with no problem.

I decided to cut cable and take my chances on an antenna. I brought this one home, took all of five minutes to put it together and hooked it up to my TV. Mind you, the antenna was still sitting on my living room floor when I did the channel scan. I immediately picked up 9 HDTV stations. Once I mounted it on the roof, I began receiving ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, FOX, and each of their peripheral channels.

I ended up with this antenna after trying some of the others available at BB. After much research into antenna technology, I came to the conclusion that the industry is rife with ridiculous claims of how "powerful" the more expensive antennas are...NOT!! It's really very simple, the "power" of a radio or tv signal is supplied by the transmitting antenna . There are several websites that will locate for you which transmitters are "reachable" in your area. That's all you need to know about getting a good reception, forget the hype!! It's very simple!!

After doing a lot of research and reading reviews, I purchased this antenna in hopes of "cutting" cable. I live approximately 30 miles from the nearest antenna. I mounted the antenna in my attic (2 story home) and utilized the existing RG6 cables from the cable company. I'm receiving the 4 main local stations (ABC, NBC, CBS and FOX) crystal clear plus an additional 44 channels. I'm a very satisfied customer.

I bought this antenna to finally cut the cord with cable company and to my surprise the quality picture I receive is much better than I anticipated. Got a good number of channels, some of which I wasn't expecting. I have it installed in my attic with four televisions attached and the reception is quite good on each tv. Much better than the old rabbit ears that I used for many years. I placed the antenna in the attic and faced it according to Antenna Direct's info on TV tower locations using my phone's compass. Now I don't have to move the rabbit ears each time I want to watch a different station. One problem though. I had a splitter close to the antenna connecting very long runs to a few TVs in different parts of the house. I had to change it from a basic splitter to an an amplified splitter to get signal on the farthest TV. Now all is very good.

Bought this long-range antenna when I ditched cable TV. It does bring in several channels within bout 50 miles but expected to range from 75 to 100 miles. I'm still pleased with it, because reception of the channels we receive is super. Still glad we have it.

I researched several sources for antennas and this one rated very high. I placed it indoors, in my attic, connected it to the TV, faced it southwest, and never touched it again. Got 60 channels, crystal clear. Very Happy!

I do large Oscar and Golden Globes parties for high end clients. Losing reception is not an option,so we prefer (3) discrete sources (cable, satellite and over the air). Pulling in signal in an urban setting can be challenging; but the clearStream provided strong signal and allowed us to use the over the air option as our primary (which always has a better picture than satellite).

It's a very nice looking antenna. It's pleasant to look at, and it's pretty easy to install as long as you have all the right tools. For roof installation, you'll need a power drill and a bolt tightener for easy mounting. If you go to AntennaWeb, you can look up where all your local TV stations are located, so you can point this antenna towards their direction for the best reception. With that said, sometimes passing cars will interfere with broadcast signals, which will intermittently drop the signal. If you put this antenna high enough, you should be able to get most channels in your area. My personal experience with the antenna has been great. Living in the east bay, the hardest channels prior to get, prior to putting an antenna on the roof, were some of the VHF channels like KTVU, KRON, KPIX, KGO and (at times) KQED. After installing the antenna, I am able to see all these channels whenever I want without any problems whatsoever. Highly recommended!

Tried this at my house and picked up 4 to 6 channels and we couldn't get any before using it. We live 10 miles in the country. Hooked it up at my moms who lives on the outside of town and she picked up an additional 14 channels. Obviously the closer to broadcast towers you are the more channels you will get. We have tried less expensive ones at our house and couldnt pick up any channels with them. This one did provide a few channels.
