Tried this as a indoor unit - Was told by the tech at Antennas Direct that it did not work well if you have a brick and stuco home , Best to use it as a roof mounted unit or in an attic Best I could get was 50% signal strength , mounted in attic. Good clear picture. No pixilation or cutting out like you would get with rabbit ears. Works better than any indoor rabbit ear antenna that I have tried in the past Used in Tampa FL.

For a one time purchase amount of approx $100, this antenna enables us to get more channels than I would have ever expected (something north of 20), including the local affiliate stations. And everything comes in crystal clear and HD when available (most of the time). So no cable bills of $100/mo and more to watch TV. So coupled with internet video, we have all of the content we could ever need.

60 channels and the signal doesn't go away during a storm. Have three HD tvs and no signal loss or loss of quality picture. Wish i had switched from satellite years ago.

This is my second one of these. I left the first behind when I moved several states away. I had that one for 4 years with no problems. This antenna allows me to get local channels from the major cities that are over 40 miles away. The instructions are easy to follow. It is easy to assemble and ALL the parts your need are included. The includes the tar squares so your roof doesn't leak

You really need to do a little research to have any idea about how many channels you can get in your area. At first, I placed this just behind my TV and ran the scan and only got 3 channels. Then I moved it out to the floor of my living room, still near a wall but not sandwiched in and went up to 25 channels. Once the last "final" episodes of a couple of shows the wife watches are over, I will remove the SAT dish and mount this antenna to the existing pole located outside. There I expect to get maybe a couple more channels and to get better reception on the ones I am already getting. Assembly on this was a little mire hassle than I expected - some plastic parts did not want to accept the wire parts without forcing them. I just bolted them down securely and feel like that was enough. I think for the price point, quality and range, this is a decent choice for Over The Air programming.

I started out with a cheap UHF antenna. It worked ok but couldn't get VHF channels like FOX in the Detroit area. I bit the bullet and did some research and spent a little extra money and got this antenna and am very happy with it. After a few days of aligning it I went from 24 channels to 47 channel including Fox. I live about 30 miles from most of the transmitting towers. Your OTA system is only as good as the antenna you use. This product completed my cable cutting success.

I can't really blame the antenna for reception issues since if everything like weather, obstacles, interference and other variables were in perfect state one would have no issues. The antenna at first looks intimidating to build, but the simple instructions gets you past this. It is engineered well and does perform. I was able to pickup will over 40 channels before i put in a pre-amp. It is now around 50+. This is setting this outside at fence level with some buildings around. It wasn't installed on the roof. I'm sure if that is the goal you won't be disappointed.

This is a quality product that pulls in 20 channels while free standing inside an apartment. Gets all the main local channels and is in clear HD. Sure beats paying $150.00 per month for cable if you are not a couch potato.

This was my second antenna I purchased. The first one was an indoor amplified antenna that worked pretty good one day and the next half of the channels would be missing. The Clear Stream 2V Long Range HDTV antenna is a much better option. I hooked this antenna up to my cable inlet outside and it powered all of my televisions. It picks up all of the main cable stations. It also picks up a bunch of other tv stations that don't really benefit my viewing needs but sometimes they show good movies. I would recommend this antenna to anyone who wants to save some money on the ever increasing cable bills.

We wanted to get off the cable grid so we purchased an antenna for our TV. We researched antenna's and bought the Antennas Direct - ClearStream 2V Long-Range HDTV Antenna - Black/Silver. It works great. The signal is clearer than our cable signal and it reaches channels over 50 miles away. We can stream other channels that are not available through an antenna. Overall, we are pleased with our purchase.

This antenna was super easy to install. I had one of those motorized ones with the aluminum rings. I would receive two channels good, but then other channels wouldn't work unless I adjusted the antenna. Major PIA. I had a significant amount confidence in this antenna and I was correct. I threw the old antenna to the ground and it fell to pieces. It certainly didn't survive the weather very well. This unit appears it will last through the weather. As the crow flies, I live less than 15 miles from midtown/downtown NYC where the network antennae are located. I tightened this antenna onto the pole with the thumb screws, then pointed it towards the city. Got back inside my apartment, connected the cable that I crimped myself. Right away, the picture was amazing with absolutely no loss of signal at all. My TV tuner found many more channels than it did before. I only watch the major networks. All channels are perfect in reception. No need to adjust at all. I did have to supply my own cable, but easy enough. I connected a splitter and have two TV's connected. Both have perfect reception. Very satisfied.

I cut the cord and moved from satellite to Free TV. Installed this antenna in my attic and positioned it to pick up the most common channels. Hooked the antenna to a TIVO roamio. It picks up most channels from about 30 miles out. Some of the channels with very low power transmitters do not come in strong but all major channels appear in HD and work fine. Very little if any outage during storms, unlike my satellite service.

This did the trick, easy install and doesn't have the problem with wind like my replaced unit. More programs that I didn't have before and less fading in high winds. Yes it comes with the attachments for existing pole mounting while still using my existing home hook up.

I mounted this antenna to my roof and connected it to my direct TV Coaxl feed and all 5 of my tvs pick up an excrptional Signal. I live roughly 35-40 Miles from our local broadcast antennas. I recieve 15 local channels, Instalation was very easy. But the best part is issue canceled my direct TV saving $130.00 a month. And this antenna was only $100.00

I was very surprised at the performance of the antenna. I really did not expect it to work. I tried it, I figured I had nothing to lose buying it at Best Buy. If it didn't work I would return it. It was easy to assemble and had it up on the roof and hooked up all in about 15 minutes. It will not be going back. We live 30 to 45 miles away from the towers.

Fairly straight forward to assemble. Had to mount outside to get all channels. Used existing mount & cable from former dish service... Overall doing its' job. Buyer beware - doesn't come with coax cable. Recommend connecting to surge protection before connecting to HDTV!

Our first antenna last for 30 years and we barely got around 5 stations. I was really disappointed when I could not watch a Seahawk game on Channel 5. Now not only do we have a super clear picture and 40 plus stations including Channel 5!

I purchased this antenna as part of our plan to get rid of expensive digital cable. We wanted to see live sports events, and after much research, decided on this antenna. It is hooked up to an LED tv, and the picture is HD quality. We are located less than 20 miles from the broadcast locations for all major networks, and so we simply hid it inside a large decorative basket on top of the entertainment center. It works perfectly this way. I don't know the exact number, but I would guess that we receive 40-some channels. This antenna was on sale when I purchased it, which made it an excellent deal. I would have paid full price for it. Highly recommended!

This antenna could pull in a weak local channel that a lot of other antennas could not. I am using as an indoor antenna with it sitting on my tv stand. It is not the smallest antenna, but not so big that you could not use it indoors if you don't want to install outside.
