Couldn't take it anymore, had to dump satellite TV . Put this antenna up and I've got great reception from all my local channels. I'm about 40 miles from the locals but it's OK. Better picture than satellite and no signal loss due to inclement weather. Definitely a great reason to use this product.

This item works great for us. I understand it all depends on the location of your house... but for us. we cancelled cable TV and installed this in the attic, tied it in to our co-ax cable in the house and picked up about 35 channels... all crystal clear.

Great for UHF, not so much for VHF

I live 48 miles from the nearest TV antenna in Houston, but this antenna did a fairly good job at picking up the signal. I set it up indoors with the antenna facing the broadcast antenna. It picked up all the UHF stations, but it did have trouble with the VHF stations (CBS, PBS, and ABC). It never found ABC. CBS and PBS would work sometimes, but would often lose signal. I found that if I held my hand just behind the antenna that it would work, but that would be annoying to do anytime I watch TV. Overall, I was very pleased at it's range. If you live closer to the broadcasting antenna, you will probably have better VHF channels.

Best OTA antenna for Uhf and Vhf signals

Had a Terk outdoor antenna with limited success receiving uhf signals and could not bring in the one channel that uses vhf signal in my area. Bought the Clearchannel 2V and now have every possible channel in my area with strong signals in all weather conditions!

About 7 years ago I decided to save money. I bought several power boosted antennas every few years up to this year. I was tired of the boost failing so I set out to get a non-power antenna. I was receiving 7 channels and that's with an adjustment unless I just wanted 6 channels. I now receive 23 channels that are crystal clear. Just spend the money to get this antenna 1st. You will be impressed!

This antenna has very good long range capability. I installed it on a ranch house that is approximately 50 miles from the nearest town that broadcast a TV signal. I was able to pick up a good number of HD channels that looked as good as if I had a direct connection. The antenna is directional and I found the higher up the antenna was mounted the more consistent the signal.

After cutting back on cable, we decided to try this satellite. So far it's been a great transition. We had no problem installing it, but if you're not handy, it may be worth the investment to get it installed. So far we have over 40 clear channels! It was a great purchase for us!

Bought this since it was on sale and rated decent, it did end up being an upgrade from the one I had. Gets a better signal and can be mounted on the side of the house making it a bit easier to adjust versus climbing in the attic. Good buy for the money.

I bought this to see the NFL playoffs and Super Bowl. It was easy to set up and has a great picture. I live in a low area and don't receive as many channels as my buddy with the same antenna. It's not the product's fault though. I know several people with this same antenna, and it was highly recommended. I have it inside on the mantle for the time being.

Easy to install and works like a charm. I took a dish off my roof and just plugged this in. 82 channels in perfect HD. Most are worthless but the networks are all there. Pair with TiVo Roamio and you will never miss cable.

We are in a valley with a hill blocking direct line of site to all the TV stations in our area. Installed this antenna in the attic and was able to pull in 56 stations and sub stations. Adding an amplifier increased to 74.

Was able to pick up several stations clearly. And considerable distance from my house (did not even have on roof, but in house on 1st floor!). I have connected 3 units together to allow for triangulation and was able to pick up stations in all directions, with no signal loss or ghosting! <Not sure why the pic upload was turned sideways by their system!?!>

I bought this as an open box item on clearance. Even though I did not get instructions I was able to install it in my attic using online information.. It is very directional and might be better with a rotor for easier adjustment if towers are in different directions as ours are. I had to install a preamp with it to pick up towers 30 miles away and feed to DTV converter boxes on multiple TVs, but it is worth it to no longer have to deal with the cable company. We tried it outside on 20ft pole where there was less interference from roof, but decided to mount it indoors due to the plastic being in the Texas summer sun. I like it but it does not go 50 miles where we are located.

We are using this in Lakewood, CO. Mounted it outside and connected it to our existind cable lines that run to several rooms in the house. We get 60+ channels and the picture is more clear and detailed than what we were getting w/ Comcast HD. Works great!

I previously tried an indoor antenna and could only get about 20 channels. So I chose this exterior antenna as an upgrade, and mounted it to the backside of my chimney. I now get over fifty channels from Baltimore and DC, and you have to know exactly what you are looking for to even realize I have an exterior antenna.

It works much better than the cheaper indoor antenna I was using before. In fact, If I put this high enough up and outside it would probably work even better yet! Currently I have it setup inside my dad's cabin in the middle of the woods on top of a 3000 ft high mountain. I point it towards the city about 50-60 miles away. It picks up most stations in that city in HD. Although, If you want certain stations, you have to point it a different way. It will pick up closer local stations regardless of the way it is pointed. More people should be using this. I hate cable. Satellite is bad too. Local channels are all you need!

Prior to this our signal was always weak and disrupted. We get signal over the air. This antenna changed everything. We now get more TV channels than we could want nor do we want, but the ones we do want are hardly ever disturbed. A little more adjusting and I think the signal will be perfect. Could not be happier

This antenna (ClearStream 2V Long-Range HDTV Antenna) is the REAL deal!! It really works as well as everyone say's it does. I now get way more channels than I ever did with any other antenna. I have no need for cable or satellite at this point. Trust me (as well as all the other reviewer's) get this antenna!

This antenna receives and eliminates most of the signal reception issues associated with HD channels. Works well on all stations within 40 to 45 mile range. Note: It is a directional antenna. Very easy to mount and is a quality antenna.
