Based on AntennaWeb.org, my local TV stations are all 20 miles away or less; however, I needed the extra gain this antenna provides to have enough signal for distributing through my house to feed two HDHomerun tuners and two televisions. This antenna is fairly directional, so it does have to be aimed carefully for best results.

One thing I've learned after trying various types of antennas is that the "milage range" is to be taken with a grain of salt. We are about 35 miles from the towers and this pulls all the stations in. We have it mounted in the attic. Just keeping fingers crossed that when the trees leaf out that will still be the case.

Easy to put up picture clearer cost a lot less too

I live in a deep valley about 30 miles from where our local stations broadcast and just couldn't get a clear signal with my old antenna. This product not only provided picture clarity but it found about 10 channels I was not getting previously! Super happy with the ease of assembly and installation. Worth every penny!

I had high hopes that this antenna would allow me to watch TV stations without using the dish. Unfortunately, even though, according to the various websites I checked before making this purchase, I should have been able to receive at least one channel, and perhaps even up to 9, not one channel came in. Big bummer! The first 2 tv's I tried this on, I came to realize did not have the proper digital converter, so my bad. The third tv definitely has the digital converter (it's in an RV and I have received digital channels when away from home) and still picked up nothing but static. Really really disappointed. Living in the mountains is super wonderful until you want to catch the news on the telly.

I live 15 miles east of nyc Pointed it towards the city. Immediately picked up 70 stations. Super clear uncompressed signal. I have constant heavy jets low overhead. Signal is perfect

Great product, I received more channels than I had expected.

Antenna is great. Easy to install and gets great Reception.

Recent cord cutters here, and we actually tried about 5 or 6 different antennas. We didn't stay with this one as it wasn't strong enough to pick up all the channels we wanted in Atlanta's Suburbs. Will work great for people closer to signal towers I'm sure.

This product was easy to put together and install.

I first tried to connect to our TV which I thought had a digital tuner and was disappointed that I only got a couple of channels very fuzzy. After calling the tech support number, they helped me confirm that we needed a converter box. Once we bought one, we got 30+ channels in HD quality!!! Installed in the rafters of my garage and works great.

My husband and I were looking for ways to save money, one of which was to get rid of our satellite tv and go with an antenna to get local digital channels. We are very pleased with this antenna so far.
